  1. For the assist and goal last night the Everton players actually bounced off him. It was impressive to watch.
  2. Sounds unnecessarily messy. It is actually hard to find good staff these days. I emailed the club a few months back asking why the 94/95 kit is advertised if they aren't actually selling it. I got 2 responses from 2 different people saying different things. I found it very odd.
  3. How do you come to this conclusion? Every sign points to us playing the same formation and starting 11 as last night V Ipswich.
  4. Ah, indeed. I missed that it was on the likes tab
  5. Have they? They got relegated after 1 season Better if it was the full whack, but still substantial. I see a tough season ahead for them. One of the favorites to go down now Don't forget that in the last 3-4 seasons while this has been going on, they have been carrying out massive cost cutting and signed practically no one. They have been held accountable for what they did. I would imagine some other clubs are getting worried.
  6. Separate, but they still have to pay it, bringing the amount they have to pay to £20 million.
  7. Why are people sharing this as proof he is signing? Is it not just a random fan wishing him luck or am I missing something?
  8. I think the owners lent the money and this means that they can't get it back now. That's probably either very basic or wrong, so please correct me if so
  9. Looking at him holding the Premier league trophy does it for me anyway!
  10. Pretty much what we did, only we had a moron in charge and didn't get promoted from the Championship. We just got a transfer ban then afterwards. The way clubs can get away with it by staying in the Premiership does make a mockery of the entire thing though. It is actually outrageous
  11. Its not less than half. It is 17 million plus they have to cover the legal fees of 3 million. So its half. I would have preferred if it was 40 million too, but you were saying clubs don't get punished, well QPR have def been punished. I don't think they could have survived if they had to pay is all off at once, have they any players worth selling? Can you imagine the negative barrel we would be staring down this season if we had just been fined 20 million and were banned from signing players in January? It would not be a happy place on here. I think a 20 million fine will make clubs think twice about how they manage their finances.
  12. Palmer and the guy from City along wit Bauer, Chapman and Armstrong(or another marquee striker) would leave us looking pretty good going into the season
  13. A £17 million fine in the Championship is pretty serious ,along with a transfer ban in January. Hugely effects them this season. I wouldn't be surprised if they go down Edit, wait a second. Your link doesn't work. It says £42 million here https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/6876475/qpr-efl-ffp-settlement-transfer-embargo/
  14. Was just going to say this. Dacks goal last night could have been a Kink Kenny special
  15. Do you need a nappy? I don't think anyone else wet themselves, even though this guy is a good signing
  16. Better to wait to try and make Armstrong, Chapman and Bauer happen within our budget, rather than sign inferior players for the sake of it. Great performance last night. Dack is sensational. Samuel much improved and Lenihan looking like he has a huge season in him. They improvement in fitness, conditioning and physicality compared to when Mowbray inherited the team is a real stand out. You can see by looking at the players physiques that they are in serious shape. If you can tell with your eyes that is some improvement.
  17. Reminds me of when Steve Staunton was managing Ireland and we were playing San Marino in our next game. They had just lost 7-0 to Czech republic, but in the game before that they had lost 13-0 to Germany. So Stan comes into the press conference and says "they have obviously tightened things up at the back" to looks of confusion and bewilderment from the collected journalists.
  18. We are a week further down the line now too ? I see they won one friendly 22-0 other a few weeks back. I don't think we will lose by that much maybe 2-1
  19. Here is a comment from one of their own fans under the article. Not just our fans panicking then lol TractorBoyTommy added 15:13 - Jul 26 I wonder what nobody average league 1 player this clown will be after this time. League 1 here we come
  20. You are on here enough, you have read similar. Next time something along the lines of it is posted, I will let you know
  21. Because some fans come on here and say stuff like "Derby are signing Waghorn for 8 million, while we haven't spent a penny!!!!" A-we have signed players B-Derby haven't signed him either. So their imaginary signing of Waghorn is the same, as of now, of our imaginary signing of Armstrong. You always seem to come down on the fans who say that others are getting hysterical or over reacting. It's seems for a mod, you have a bit of a one sided crusade going on this. Are fans not entitled to say some are over reacting? I don't think anyone should get wound up by that. If they do, they need a fag and a pint as was suggested
  22. There you go Playing left, right or centre mid, not attacking midfield Why do people come on here making stuff up to prove their points?
  23. How do you know that? I can't find the info online Anyway, I don't think they are like for like palyers https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/who-is-joe-rothwell-manchester-united-youngster-in-squad-watford-a6907701.html Rothwell is a box-to-box-midfielder, described as one who “likes to drive forward and set up attacks” by his club’s official website. "I like to get on the ball and drive forward and set up attacks," he said earlier this season. "My main asset is driving past players, beating players and bringing others into play. I’m trying to add a few more goals so hopefully I can do that."
