  1. How do you know? So basically there is no point having a head of recruitment so in your opinion? Seeing as we can sort targets without one
  2. Didn't realise it was a thing. In fact there are very little posts about anything at the moment
  3. God help the young lads you coach Never said Armstrong is shit and you know it. Now back you go to trolling chaddy. That's pretty much your full time job, you Doyle.
  4. Mols class. Dack bad 😆😆😆😆
  5. Have you read the posts? To point out they are doing business that is good for them, whilst we haven't even appointed a head of recruitment
  6. They might sign mols next. Actually heard he's off to Liverpool Destined for big things that lad according to our resident itk scout. Lol. Better than Dack he is. Dacks not a championship player according to our guru. Absolute lol Sit this next one out mate
  7. That was my point. Decent for them. We should be moving now on players that would be decent for us, but we aren't and nobody is surprised.
  8. Luton have just signed Henri Lansbury and Cameron Jerome Has the the mediocre one returned from holidays yet? Any word on recruiting a head of recruitment? Does someone think the head of recruitment should be recruiting for the role and as such everybody has forgotten whose job it is? Tin pot
  9. Shows how easy some are brainwashed by a few social media posts
  10. Don't see any of those boys in the Copa America
  11. Course it is. You're on here doing it with posters regularly
  12. Dack isn't a decent championship player , Mols is destined for big things and Rothwell is a Premier League player. You crack me up. Football is a game of opinions for sure.
  13. Debatable. The stats perhaps tell a different story, but let's not go there. He had a great season and I think he will score goals wherever he goes. I just hope we get a decent price for him.
  14. Another manager could get a different type of player in and improve results. Last season was a great one for Armstrong, not for the team. Unfortunately, we are stuck with Mediocre Mowbray
  15. Strikes me as a one season wonder who you could get your pants pulled down on if you get in for too high a fee on. If we are talking 3-5 million, I would like to see someone brought in from abroad. More value.
  16. Did you watch him at Oxford? His stats are below mediocre and he ended up here for what was it, €150,000? Ok. Like Mols so. He has talent, but his inconsistencies are on him at this stage of his career.
  17. If only it was that simple!
  18. Yates is a bit of a lazy link for me and a lazy and unimaginative move if we make it. His record isn't great, prior to last season. Did he play in a different position or something? As in not upfront? He's the same age as Armstrong. Now maybe he's more of a team player, which would be good, but it's a huge amount of goals to replace. It's not even about Yates ,or whoever we sign. We are going to need Gallagher and Brereton to contribute at least 25 goals between them next season. Hard to see. Those who have watched a lot of Yates. How does his style compare to Armstrong's? He's obviously not as quick anyway
  19. I have my doubts. His entire career has been the same, inconsistent. If anything the goon gave him his big break. Good in about 1 every 6/7 games and in those games ,he's good for about 20 minutes. That's the reality. Not disagreeing Mowbray has in some ways impeded him though.
  20. 3-5 million for Rothwell, in this climate? Are you having a laugh?
  21. Ya and as I said, it doesn't always come down to that. We have gone over the other issues. So lets just leave it at that
  22. A fat payrise, signing on bonus and we sell him anyway. I suppose if his contract runs down, he will get that elsewhere. No point expecting loyalty or the best intentions of the club from players though
  23. Clearly it doesn't always go that way, but there are also situations where it does happen. Also where teams go back to back for promotions. With a better manager and that winning feeling, v us and our worst run of form in the English league, I just don't get how you would be surprised if they did better than us. In many ways, the writing is on the wall.
