  1. Again, wouldn't surprise me. If a club gets him for under 25 mil, 1 decent season in the PL and you can double that Can we add a sell on clause again I wonder??
  2. Norwich would make sense, for them and him
  3. It's hard to know god dammit! 😀
  4. They have some lovely kits. I am more optimistic about the next kit than I was about anything Umbro copy and pasted lately
  5. You would think he could have brought Lingard instead of one right-back.
  6. I think Armstrong is deadly and will score goals at a higher level. Just that his play at times last year in individual games was detrimental to the overall team performance. Some see that as saying he's "shit" So ya, I wouldn't go off forums as my barometer as to whether a player is any good. You need to watch them yourself and then make that assesment.
  7. Discussions about whether a player is good based off "some" fans views is ultimately pointless. You have to see the player yourself and make that call. Some players suit some systems better. I haven't been impressed by the albeit limited amount I have seen Curtis play for ireland, but Messi would probably struggle to look good there at the moment. His goal contributions show he is productive anyway and that can't be taken away from him. I haven't heard anything about a bad attitude either. He actually plays on the wing though, which is good. He's an upgrade on Chapman no doubt.
  8. I loved that jersey! Had it when I was around 13-14 I think
  9. Hasn't worked out at Forrest. He had a good record before that and looked good to me whenever I watched him. If I recall at the time a lot of clubs were after him when Forrest signed him. I'd say the link is made up anyway. The website looked a bit dodgy and it had the 3 club rule.
  10. Taylor has a far superior record to Fletcher. You can use the internet beyond this site can't you, surely? Or do you think not scoring at a higher level is somehow better than actually scoring at a lower level? Wouldnt put it passed you!
  11. Is 31 old now? Taylor is a good player. Your last line is just pure nonsese It's gonna be difficult on here if every single player we are linked with is run into the ground because of who the manager is
  12. The board risks getting too negative. Most of us want the manager gone, he isn't going. I'm guilty of being negative. The squad isn't as bad as some are making out. Plus there will be additions. As you rightly say, no need to worry about the squad now. The owners have backed their man. Rare that happens these days. Plenty of successful managers of bygone eras would have been sacked from their roles If managing these days. We can but hope it's that type of scenario, but it's very hard to see that happening.
  13. Looking at their catalogue. These guys do some lovey kits. Sporting Lisbon and Red star Belgrade 2 standouts
  14. Probably on peanuts, but I mean a 5 year deal at a PL team, he would have to take it, going off his previous record of both form and injuries. His agent deserves a raise. I suppose it's a free hit for Watford though. Low wage and his value automatically increased by them signing him whilst in the PL. So he could play a handful of games and they could still flog him for a profit. The joys of being PL. If he scores 10 PL goals in his career I will be amazed.
  15. Well one is going to end up on the wing! Fletcher has some agent. I read it's a 5 year deal at Watford. With injuries alone, that's a cracking deal for him.
  16. Under another manager I would be happy and somewhat excited by those options.
  17. Are you talking about Ronaldo? Fair enough, looks shite to me. His goalscoring record is worse than Gallaghers, in better teams. Let's see how he goes with Watford. Just because they signed him, it doesn't mean he's any good. They don't have a 100% success rate with signings, you might be surprised to hear. Anyways, aren't you constantly blustering about Mowbray signing Boro lads?
  18. Again, you don't have an answer. Bizzare. So you are respoting to making up stuff like me thinking Armstrong is useless, when clearly the discussion was an adult one around his weaknesses. You are tying yourself in circles with lies so as not to back up your original assertion that Fletcher is somehow a good player. I would imagine you are the only one on the board who would be excited about signing him. Yet you can't even explain why you would 🤣 Comical.
  19. Surprised by that. Has looked rubbish from what I have seen. I suppose they do need English players and he's a free hit. The fact you have repeatedly dodged the question of why you think he is good is pretty intereting though. It's as if you can't answer it! His best season was 11 goals. Less than Gallagher scored the year we were relegated. That was by far his best season. He's about a 1 goal every 5 games striker.
  20. Blackpool taking 4 points off us next season so is it
  21. No, I don't. Obviously. I just dont think he's perfect. Surprisingly. Fletcher, who you recommend, is a striker who doesn't score and is less mobile either Gallagher or Brereton. He's also Boro. I hope he's nowhere near our Z list. Honestly though, slagging aside, what do you like about him?
  22. He's useless, so would fit right in
  23. No idea. Wasn't following it indepth or anything. They spent a lot of time chasing him anyway. How will be a tidy appointment for some championship club
