  1. Bristol City you get 10% off food/beer on the concourse with a ST.
  2. In the LT it said he was flying straight off after the Norwich game last night and cut his presser short for that reason. So your mate is probably right give or take a few hours.
  3. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2019/april/new-finance-provider-confirmed/ Barnsley have just announced financial firm V12 to replace Zebra. 0% finance on 10 monthly instalments. “Following the untimely news regarding Zebra Finance, there has been a real focus ensuring that supporters are given a flexible payment option for the 2019/20 season. “The deal we could establish at this late stage was 10 monthly payments on 0% interest. To keep costs at a minimum for supporters, all additional fees and charges have been absorbed by the Football Club. ”
  4. Both great ideas. Lots of students going off to Uni who only get back in the holidays. I especially like the 12 month Direct Debit idea. I'd miss £400 in one go a lot more than £33 a month. It's these common sense ideas that make the way Rovers run the club infuriating. It's all talk about 'building clubs' from Waggott and then doing frig all that is actually practical.
  5. https://www.mkdons.com/season-tickets/game-packages-for-under25s/ MK Dons do a 6 game package and a 10 game package aimed at U25's who live away and can only get back for a few games a season. Super Six is priced from £5 per month and allows you to choose any SIX home league games to watch during the 2019/20 season. Terrific Ten is priced from £8 per month and allows you to select any TEN home league games to watch in the 2019/10 campaign. They also do full U25 tickets for £140 ish. They take 12 months direct debits out for tickets and you can just keep the DD set up season after season. There doesn't appear to be a charge for doing it either. Over to you Waggott….
  6. Luton do a loyalty scheme where if you've had a ST for 5 years you get £50 off and £25 if you've had one for 2 years - on top of the early bird discounts. Good idea.
  7. What year was that? I'd forgotten how close those terraces were. IIRC they had tram lines between them and the back of the BBE?
  8. I bet a lot of people could miss five quite easily due to work/holiday/other commitments. Add on the meaningless dead rubbers …. cold Jan/Feb games that are on the red button anyway … games moved for SKY etc … and it becomes a lot more cost effective to pay for individual matches instead of buying an ST. However, If they are bringing in an 18-25 ticket that would be a very positive step forward (as long as it is priced correctly...and not just £50 off full price). I'll be having botox and dying my hair to get in cheap
  9. At what price (affordability or principle) would people stop buying a ST and start picking their games? A £400 ST is the equivalent of 16 games at £25 each. If you miss 7 games then the financial reason for buying a ST disappears.
  10. Which was my point. We don't have enough turnover to cover the wages yet we are spending £7m on a sub. Ergo our current turnover has very little impact on what we currently spend on transfer fees.
  11. I think we need a lot better than Henderson, Marquis and Hiwula. We have enough 2nd and 3rd choice strikers. Assombalonga (or someone of his quality) is what we need.
  12. Silly post. It's been explained why they don't have an impact.
  13. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17602741.mowbray-frustrated-and-disappointed-by-rovers-first-half/ Travis and Jack Rodwell struggled to get to grips with the Norwich midfield in the first half, and Mowbray added:“Defenders have to defend, I don’t know why the midfielders’ were trying to do the defenders’ jobs" Because you play 2 DM's you clown and they sit in front of the back 4 on your instruction. “I think we are frustrated and disappointed with most of the first half. We didn’t play on the front foot enough,” Mowbray said. It's like a parallel universe. We rarely play on the 'front foot'. It's just BS.
  14. Anyone else think Dack is off in the summer and the club are happy to facilitate it? I'm just thinking of the Mowbray quotes at the Fans Forum about him being sold to create a transfer fund and Dacks performances since. Reminds me of when Lambert went out of his way to sell Rhodes.
  15. I think he left Man City a few years ago. Not on loan I don't think
  16. Spot on. Rodwell was an utter disgrace for one of their goals, he was out of position out wide and made no attempt to get back in position and try and stop their lad from shooting. The least you'd expect is a bit of running. At least Mulgrew cares. Rodwell can FO.
  17. Give your phone and BRFCS password to a chimp. We'd get more sense out of them
  18. Come on mate, we play on 'front foot' every game. Tony says so* *3 goals all season from open play in the first half of games at Ewood.
  19. Exactly, we'll bring in about £3.5m from ST sales. That won't even pay for the shortfall on the imaginary sold out DE that Waggott budgets for every season.
