The point is he's costing us goals and games. There has to be a deterrent to playing badly. He can throw them in his own net and he's still guaranteed a place. Yesterday the bloke scored from 2 yards out. Raya never moved. Of course he's at fault.
-
We aren't losing £15m a season now so its very hard to see how cutting ST prices would make much difference. We bring in about £3.5m a season in gate receipts.
-
What about it? IIRC a club can lose £39m over a 3 year period.
-
Clearly not at Rovers as the owners are pumping in £m's a year just to keep the club running. Our gate receipts for the season wouldnt buy BB's left bollock.
-
And theres still no correlation between attendances and transfer spend. That's a blatant falsehood or we wouldn't be spending £7m on a sub. Hopefully you'll be able to accept that at some point and base your arguments in some version of reality.

Good??? Harsh.?? He's not hitting the heights of earlier in the season but he's still our most creative outlet. He doesn't look fit to me at the moment. He's a chunky monkey who seems to suffer more than most when he's not in tip-top condition. -
Straw man Number 48 of the day. Nobody has demanded the club spend more. They questioned why £7m had been spent on a sub and not the areas of the pitch (the defence) which need attention. Also, there is no correlation between attendances and the money Venky's are willing to spend, as BB proved. Try again.

Agreed. We can't defend. It's that simple. BCFC have won 3 of their last 5 away games 1-0. They've only conceded 5 in their last 10 games home and away. We've conceded 16. As an attacking unit I thought they were fairly average. In the last 10 they've scored 14, we've scored 15. They've got 24 points over that period, we've got 13. Apparently though, according to TM, our defending is not an issue. ? -
He may need it simpler.
-
All good points but I think you may be wasting your time. He's now gone back to 'how cheap do they want it'?
-
Time to drop Raya to focus his mind a bit. He's been responsible for some glaring errors recently which have led to goals. We aren't going down or up so it's time our £7m man started a game or two. He's been here 6 months now. Chapman, if fit, should be on the bench. As should Butterworth or Buckley if Mowbray really wants to give them game time before next season. At 20 years old Magloire should also be tested at some point if he's seen as one for the future. 15 games left and we aren't good enough defensively to sustain a play-off push. Time to plan for next season.

https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/blackburn-rovers/11632713/blackburn-0-1-bristol-city Highlights^ Nyambe didn't lose his man. They were hugging each other. His mistake was to not be looking at the ball. Raya was asleep. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17421612.blackburn-rovers-0-bristol-city-1-player-ratings/ I think Sharpe was asleep too. He claims Raya was blocked off for the goal -
No but they were in the Prem when we played them which was your reasoning behind the good Newcastle crowd. You seem to have talked yourself into a cul-de-sac of confusion.

Mowbray has said he's talked about foreign recruitment with Venky's as we don't appear to have any foreign scouts. What's he been doing for the last 2 years? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17408240.no-transfer-window-regrets-for-rovers-boss-despite-injuries/ -

*cough* Brereton *cough* -
That will be the fans fault according to Waggott.

When we reduced ST prices under Williams how many more ST holders did we add? What was the reduction? Was it £150 per ST on average? As I recall we were in the Prem before we reduced them and then the season after we reduced them we were still in the Prem. That must mean success had nothing to do with the increase in ST holders. It must have been price.
-
But Swansea (or Stoke?? I cant remember) were a PL team when we got about 10 people on in the FA Cup under Bowyer. The reason Newcastle was well-attended was because it was cheap.
-
Have you done a survey? Could you please publish it on here if so? Cheers.
-
Which is fine but I thought the idea was to build our fanbase not make a few quid off North End once a year? Don't include PNE in the offer would be my answer, do 1 match offers on games where not many away fans will come. That's 50% of the clubs in our league, if not more.

He kept giving the ball away for a start. He was also caught in possession a few times. Mogga wasn't impressed when he did it in front of him. He's a young lad, he's not going to be MOTM every game. He'll have dips in form and bad games like all young lads do. -
Would 15 thousand extra (which is, what it actually was) turn if tickets against Oxford were £25 quid? No. So price is not always secondary to stuff on the pitch at all. Price is often the determining factor for people atte ding which is why everytime we slash prices for either ST's or match tickets crowds go up. Ask John Williams.
-
Not to me because I have a ST. I'm not trying to justify non attendance either (straw man No 2 of the day) 99 quid is a lot of money if you dont go anyway. That's the point. Try and apply some context.
