  1. Oh well that's jolly nice. Sounds like a lovely trip. Being at Brockhall trying to work out how to stop his team getting battered at nearly every away game can obviously wait.
  2. Venkys want promotion back to the Prem ASAP. How they go about achieving it will be determined by who they listen to. It seems Waggott and Mowbray have their ear at the moment and are recommending a slow build. Venkys seem to want to go quicker. Results will determine what happens next...
  3. Tony will possibly go 3 at the back panic mode with Lenny missing. Nyambe will hopefully be back in to add a bit of pace.
  4. Lenihan is a big miss. If Graham and/or Dack are also missing we might be really struggling.
  5. They've only sold about 800 tickets. Tinpot. We need to win this to keep up hopes of the play-offs. 2-1 Rovers.
  6. I'd forego my one shag a year for B*rnl*y never to win anything.
  7. Consolidation is what this season has always been about. Mowbray has done a sterling job in that regard.
  8. That's because, like Coyle, only an idiot would employ him.
  9. I think Rich Sharpe made a good point when he said when the game gets stretched we really struggle. Also, all the teams we've been hammered by away from home all move the ball around with pace. I just think that defence is poor when put under sustained pressure by the better footballing sides.
  10. Conway yes, but to suggest getting rid of Bennett is nonsense. He's still a very useful squad member who has been one of the best players in the team for most of the season.
  11. I like Nyambe but there must be a reason he's been dropped unceremoniously from the first team squad.
  12. I didn't ask that. I asked when you thought it was fair to judge him?
  13. I know what it means. It's funny watching you having to use it time and again because you've nothing else. When do you start judging him? 6 months, 12 months 2 years? When he's deemed good enough to be in the team? £7m for someone who never contributes is too much for a Championship team...or any team.
  14. Lots of straw men in there too. Try and keep on topic. BB cost £7m. We massively overpaid. That's it. Whether it's paid in one go or over 4 years is irrelevant. We're still paying the same amount. Most transfers are paid in instalments (even AA's) so it's a moot point anyway. The fact you keep going off on tangents suggests you may be struggling with what's actually being discussed. For one of the great minds of your (or any) generation that is rather surprising.
  15. No. That's your argument to deflect from the fact we paid £7m for a kid. As someone else pointed out Maupay cost Brentford £1.6m. That fee AND his wages won't come to £7m over 4 years. And he's actually getting in the team and scoring goals. Understand now?
  16. Good point, Bennett isn't brilliant at full back but AA doesn't offer any cover whether he plays left or right. However, AA is better on the right IMO so the need for a top quality RB must surely be a priority if Nyambe has fallen out of favour.
  17. Vokes And Bamford both cost £7m. £7m should get you a top end striker in the Championship. We got a young lad who can't get in the team. The end.
  18. I think @K-Hod goes on holiday just to get away from his mates.
  19. Straw man number 87...and that's just this year.
  20. @Biz attacking posters in an arrogant and contemptuous manner. What a surprise.
  21. Leeds 3 down at home to Norwich.
  22. Bowyer had better players because he was able to spot them and buy them for far less than BB has cost.
  23. We're still theoretically in the hunt for the play-offs. Our away form will unfortunately scupper that. Last ten games we've only won 2 away and conceded 3 four times, 4 once and 5 once. That's very poor. Mowbray needs to find a way of playing away from home that gives us a chance of winning.
