  1. Straw man. We still had money to spend.
  2. Course we would. Mowbray said he had money to spend. We are talking good quality players that don't cost the earth in wages. Plenty of those around if you have a good scouting system.
  3. Yeah cos Dack has never ended up there?. Sharpe said CC said he only went to right when BB came on.
  4. No10 acc to rich Sharpe who was at the game from where Conway gave the foul away from which they scored their 3rd acc to Sharpe. He then moved to the right wing later from where he continued to play a starring role in shoring up the team?
  5. He played him as a no.10. Square pegs...
  6. It's not the first time we've let a lead slip, or we've capitulated away from home. It's also not the first time Raya has messed up or we implode when Graham goes off. Tony hasn't remedied any of these issues even though they've been glaringly obvious for a while. It all goes back to poor recruitment IMO.
  7. Classic Mowbray surrender.
  8. This is the day. Brereton The Brave to bag the winner
  9. I haven't seen it but my concern with Rodders is people running at him
  10. Graham took his top off to reveal a t-shirt saying 'Piss Off Revidge' after he scored that. The ref deemed it fair and didn't book him.
  11. No. It's a £7m transfer deal. The 'flex' just means he had less money to spend elsewhere. Waggott had a pot of money like everyone else and decided to try and make that sound interesting.
  12. Hes just saying he had a budget. Like every other CEO.
  13. I've never thought you talked sense on anything so thank you?
  14. Paying 7m for just anybody isn't ambition. It's stupidity. Also as I've seen him play and he's shyte so its nothing like Revs anti Graham rants. Try again.
  15. To return you to the point (tricky for you I know) but you said you were against gambling financially, yet you've been defending the signing of a 19yo for obscene money who can't get a game. Now you're saying BB was ambition but signing someone different for a lot of money would be gambling. It's almost as if your flip-flopping just so you can be contrary. I can't believe that of you Biz?
  16. Been on here too long. And to be fair you did ask a closed question that I was obviously going to disagree with because I'd already done so 2 minutes earlier. I like TM, he's done a great deal for our club, I just don't buy the 'man of integrity' piffle. He will do as every other manager does and change the facts to suit his current predicament. Human nature I guess. Lets not make him out to be Mother Theresa (who incidentally could be a right gobshyte when she's had too much coke) And I'm so cool it hurts.
  17. NOUN dated offensive a person who is unable to walk or move properly through disability or because of injury to their back or legs.
  18. Mowbray said the total opposite at the end of August after buying BB. He said 'if the money is there let's spend it'. He'll say whatever suits his needs at a particular time. Man of integrity though
  19. It could be interesting. We jusr need to keep winning. I do think our last run in (from Sheff W onwards) is tough though.
  20. Interesting article. The owners again pushing Mowbray to spend and Mowbray again failing to deliver quality. As suspected the £6m or £7m purchase of BB in the last window was a panic buy because Mowbray was expected to spend the money given to him and he couldn't. Hes never done recruitment well. Let's hope Graham stays fit.
  21. Says the man who has spent the last few months doing little else on here but defending the obscene amount of money spent on a 19 yo lad who can't get a game.
