  1. I'll predict nearer the start of the season when more teams have made more additions.
  2. All I'll say to paddy is. "bounce up if you've won f*** all"
  3. I spoke to three people yesterday who said they wouldn't be either with their families. All three said it was a combination of reasons. Too expensive generally, silly kick off times and poor football.
  4. Souness Just look at the amount of players that have left Newcastle this summer. Classic. I'd love to see Bellamy score the winner at Ewood in September against The Geordies.
  5. Den - What you could do is get a season ticket in Jack Walker Upper Outer, then for most games just move to the middle.
  6. Pleased, think he'll do a good job. To get his wages to £30k from £40k is good. Hughes could be the man to get Bellamy under control.
  7. I couldn't care less. If people don't like it, it suggests they don't want a rough ride. We all love it.
  8. I agree. We haven't seen the best of Savage yet. Never got a decent run of games together because of his groin. With a good pre-season under his belt, he will be good for us.
  9. Robert's comments about Souness made me laugh. Newcastle are going down the pan. I reckon Souey will have left Newcastle by December.
  10. It doesn't. In a season, you play each team twice. You have to play everyone at some stage, let's get on with it.
  11. Renewed mine on Thursday. If there was to be a standing area, I'd be happy to move to where ever it was. But it won't.
  12. Not bothered who gets which number. A number's a number.
  13. First game I can make is Bolton. I'm not bothered who we get and when, we all have to play everyone some time. Wigan on New Year's Eve, should be good.
  14. Well done England. Only saw the last hour so can't comment on the whole match. Pietersen was brilliant to watch at the end, won the game. He will be in the Ashes.
  15. I'm renewing my season ticket via the internet, never paid for anything on the internet before. I can't think of £225 spent 'better' on anything else. People will either stick it out or not, until we have a good run of results on a consistant basis then, like anywhere else we won't get decent attendances. I know 11 people who won't be renewing, all who decided they weren't renewing well before the end of the season and I can't blame them. It's expensive, some of their kids aren't happy to sit in the pouring rain watching c*** football, stupid kick off times. The main factor is we've been c*** for the last two seasons and until we start performing well, then we'll get those fans back.
  16. Told you all this was happening. Mixed feelings on Stead, his goals with Cole kept us up. But up front on his own he hasn't shown that he can do it at the highest level, without a decent forward. Hopefully the money we have got from his transfer fee will be put towards a striker with real quality. We won't miss Stead.
  17. No they weren't all Blackburn fans. We were in Darwen End, car park full of coaches. Little kids on day trips with schools I guess etc. All with their horns, I didn't enjoy it to be honest. The game was really poor, hardly made decent passes and the atmosphere did my head in. Horn noise all the time, not sure I could put up with that for 19 league games and a the cup games at home if you get me.
  18. From what I've heard, you need to charge it well for a good few hours before hand.
  19. Price of the tickets may have something to do with it.
  20. Iriver looks mingin 320052[/snapback] I know what you mean.
  21. Does anybody have an idea, which would be better to buy? An Ipod or an IRiver. I'm looking into buying one or the other and really don't know which one to get.
  22. Most are going for the day out. How many of them will go every week?
  23. It's worrying to think how many season ticket holders there will be next season. I'm not surprised, this season for Rovers fans has been a slog to watch, boring to be honest. It hurts me to say it but it's the truth. Paul mentioned a few factors and I agree. Football has become too expensive and at ridiculous times, kick offs at 12.15 and 5.30 are a bloody pain in the arse. Especially for people who take their kids, more so midweek games. I know 9 people who aren't renewing next year. What Hughes has said, seems to me he knows its worrying. Things can only get better, I hope.
