  1. of course we have one -JDT era was a blip-back to normal now with SWAG in full control...
  2. Close the thread -there won't be any major incomings. Or are JE and SWAG planning a trip to Pune to brown nose the Raos? Worked for the gurning one.
  3. Anybody running a book on:- how many pages this thread will reach by the end of the window how many players will be linked how many players we will actually sign for real money
  4. We won't have any next season other than to remain in the division.
  5. Prices announced soon as we are safe and whilst there is plenty of rubbish about getting in new players.
  6. Jury out for me. Set up in the only way he could really against a top side. Worked a treat. Players worked hard but look incredibly poor on the turnover (but that is down to personnel not his coaching). Leeds look jaded and we rode our luck. Second half we sensed we might get something and had a few chances. But so did they. I know I am in a camp of only one, but for me, in the Prem and with VAR they could have had at least 3 pens (I know some on here would most definitley be crying if it was the other way round) and they missed at least 2 good headers. But we deserved our win and it was great to behold. Just not getting overexcited particularly when we all know what will happen in the summer. Is the transfer thread open yet? 😉
  7. You know what will happen in the summer. Pray that Broughton or whoever can find the new SS/BB/AA.
  8. On the other hand, if we had won at Bristol, points wise today wouldn't have mattered, other than the pleasure of sticking it to Leeds.
  9. Terrible ref. I mean, he gave us everything 😉 3 penalties all day long LOL. Good job VAR not working in the Chumpionship. Cracking win –always nice to see Leeds crying. Couldn’t help smiling at the goal. Gally wins a header (!), Dolan lovely first touch and then the vision to reverse it to Sammie, and you know the rest –one touch Sammie.
  10. And it will become the narrative over the summer if we do go down. All JDTs fault but we can rebuild, new manager, we're all in it together yada yada
  11. Or that perhaps JDT got the points that might just keep us up.
  12. Hyam should be off on principle and for JE to show his authority.
  13. You don't have to be world beaters here -it had the feeling of a nothing draw-but you just don't give away 2 goals if you want to achieve anything.
  14. Agree with speeeeeeedie -possible to separate the player and the addict.
  15. Improve the ‘product’ on the pitch. Agree no magic wand and will take time to rebuild years of mismanagement. I know there are bigger issues than this but…. It would be nice for those paying premium prices not to have to constantly deal with people who have paid for a cheap ticket to try and sit in a more expensive one. Not even waiting to say half- time to see if anybody has turned up but occupying several seats 10 mins before kick-off. Rather than slinking off shame faced, they then move several times, only to be moved on yet again.
  16. 23/24 Income 25.39 Expenditure 1.5 22/23 Income 0 Expenditure 3.75 21/22 Income 17.7 Expenditure 1.36 20/21 Income 0 Expenditure 1.81 19/20 Income 3.35 Expenditure 6.5
  17. On Markandy -apologies not read the thread so may have been mentioned already. Jury out for me. Age on his side, and with game time and good coaching who knows?
  18. Sammie = 23 goals Markanday, Sigurdsson, Gilsenan, Dolan = 11 between them (Gilsenan obviously 0)
  19. So do City, Arsenal, Brighton. City did get 'the tank' to change it up but for many teams at a higher level it is de rigeur to play in that manner. And thinking about it, I suspect Southampton may have settled for the playoffs given their position now.
