I don't get your point. Do you honestly think The Raos know a decent goalkeeper from a bad one, a decent right back from a duffer? You can't argue the financial support that Rovers have received from the owners in the past 5 years or can you? The club needs to be run on a reasonably sustainable financial level but surely everyone must respect that it's not just down to the owners to pull millions out of their back sack? It irks me to say it but we need gates of 20,000 plus at Ewood every other week!

Just playing devils advocate: In August last, who would have imagined that we'd be challenging for automatic promotion at the mid season stage, never mind play-offs? I'd say the current powers that be have earned the right to continue on the path that they are currently on this season, whatever that may be and wherever that may ultimately lead us. Last August, I'd have been happy to finish 16th this season!

Just to throw it out for consideration: I've heard that Rovers are interested in signing Morgan Gibbs-White. I know nothing about him other than he's a midfielder. Whether he's any good or not, I've no idea either.

Ask any potential 'goalkeeper bullying' opposition player if they like a set of studs 'accidentally' down the back of their achilles, they tend to think twice next time! Keepers need to have a 'nasty streak' to command their area with presence and a touch of arrogance with it. It's not just down to size (although admittedly it can help)

I didn't compare Raya with Pears, other than a common denominator between the 2 being lack of a true goalkeeping coach in the true sense of the word. IMO, Raya is a great goalkeeper and has developed his game immeasurably since he moved to Brentford. Pears is poor in terms of basics but may improve with adequate coaching. Kaminski isn't the finished article either in my view but he's certainly got what it takes but could go on to another level with decent coaching to polish the rough edges. Fisher is in the same category as Pears for me but it's all about opinions.

He may have decent reflexes but has been found wanting on every single occasion where positioning, moving his feet and time to think about matters comes in to play......see Saturday as a prime example! Ben Benson is surely partially culpable, as he surely was with David Raya!
