  1. I guess some are voting with their feet, but I will always want to support BRFC on the pitch. I hate what has gone on, but in the case of most players, they are helpless, just like the fans are, when it comes to past issues as well as current issues. Personally I have to follow from afar, as I live abroad, but buy every game I can and still consider myself a big Rovers fan.
  2. Exactly as was demonstrated last week with the Sky facilitated interview of our former manager, who was one again, trotting out, how he was victimised. I don’t think many Rovers fans have much sympathy for him, yet the people who allowed it to happen, seem to be off the hook.

  4. I think some people have forgotten what went on. In some quarters, the reappearance of some fan made banners, has gone down badly, particularly on Twitter. People seem to have swallowed the badly advised line. Certain people have torn the heart out of our club. The FA were given plenty of evidence to support wrong doing at the club and as the banner stated, the FA allowed us to die, by doing FA about it. I speed read some of Glen Mullans blog this weekend to remind myself of some of it and I am aware of more than most. The people at Kentaro and Crescendo we’re far too cosy with the FA for them to want to investigate. Serious things have come out recently, about the people at the very top of world football and although plenty were happy to cover these up to, we are now seeing what has gone on. Far too many greedy people have got away with far too much, but I believe, it will eventually come out. In the meantime, for those who want to swallow the badly advised line, carry on, as I for one, never have and never will trust these owners,
  5. Without wanting to sound over bearing in any way, Duncan is an excellent addition the the Rovers Trust board. Having been involved in other successful projects, including Rovers Radio, he is get up and go and gets things done.
  6. That’s exactly why I have posted what I have, several times, in response to the posts about the sweeping changes. I sincerely hope they happen, but we have seen this before and it is normally when someone is in danger of losing their job.
  7. We aren't and we will survive. I think people are under the impression, if Venky's pull the plug, they will want all of the money back, they have put in and that leaves us like Bury. We would go into administration and someone would come along and buy us out. The key thing is ensuring that the someone, has the best interest of the club at heart and another version of Venky's. Look at what happened at Bolton, who nearly got saddle with Bassini, bit someone so through that and despite his desperate attempts at stopping them, they were bought out, by a consortium, who look like they mean business. My big fear is that this will carry on under Venky's for some time to come, as there is some sort of scam, still going on. Exactly how that looks currently is hard to tell, but the current situation, still has all the hallmarks of their first 2 years in charge, when we had agents at the trough and players leaving hand over fist, with new ones brought in to downgrade, rather than improved things.
  8. This is exactly why some people keep are bringing this back to the attention of the fans. Like you, plenty of others, do not know the corruption that has gone on allegedly and may still be going on. Some fans have decided they don’t want to know, but should people like this, still be ruining our club? Over the last week or so, a couple of banners have been brought back out, reminding us about some of these things. One was at the STC last week and another surfaced this week at Ewood. I salute the fans who have done this and in some ways, wonder if it is a response to king rats appearance on Sky again, playing the victim. If there is no right of reply, perhaps the banners give us one.
  9. I don't know of anything since that, to be honest. There are plenty of things that have been uncovered since, but nothing committed to type, like that was. I am also very proud of the fans that got involved in uncovering some things that made things uncomfortable for certain people. Sadly that battle was won, but the war is far from over. As you can imagine, a lot of people put a lot of time into uncovering what went on and still do as just like you, there are still serious miss giving's about the owners in some quarters. It saddens me, when I hear of long standing fans not attending anymore, due to the current owners, despite fully understanding that decision. Plenty more seem to have made the same choice and although at times, it is dressed up as being for other reasons, I personally believe that the owners are the root cause of a lot of that.
  10. It may be nostalgia, as I was only a kid in the seventies, watching Johnny Price, Tony Field and Roger Jones, but they also stick firmly in my memory as Rovers greats, as does Ken Furphy.
  11. it is total madness really and hopefully the penny will eventually drop.
  12. It has been tweeted again earlier today.
  13. try this for starters and let me know of you need any more. Rovers Revisited
  14. This is a picture of Kenny Dalglish arriving at Ewood yesterday. It seems to have slipped under the radar. Does anyone know what it was about? 414142C6-EB49-426E-8A4C-8D23C8375321.MOV
  15. He must qualify as fit and proper then?
  16. It’s a shame that some posters on here, who are Rovers fans, have rubbished some of the work, certain people did, not just outing Kean, but outing the whole regime back then. One person dismissed it as just a blog and one persons opinion. Without some of that graft, for no financial reward, Kean would have got away with even more and so would have some of his inner sanctum.
  17. You don’t think he would have saddled us with just any old owner do you? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/twohundredpercent.net/laurence-bassini-bolton-wanderers-marriage/amp/
  18. People still involved, who I certainly would not trust. Despite this, we are supposed to accept that they were badly advised and that changes are afoot that will benefit the club.
  19. Moyes loved him according to this story, so perhaps West Ham are about to offer him a gig?
  20. He sounds like a world beater in that interview. I wonder why he never got another managers Job in the UK having been in charge of a premier league team? No mention of the drink driving offence or his bonuses, that were payable even if relegated, or all of the signings he made, that never kicked a ball in the first team.
  21. it was amazing how he and his Agent were given so much time on air, by sky with no right of reply for the fans. The crying episode, where Anderson claimed the fans had driven his son out of our club, was unreal. I have never seen acting as bad in my life. Those two were complicit in getting Myles a playing contract with a premier league club, which was at least 5 leagues higher up, then his real level. Did anyone at Sky ever follow it up to see if Myles made it elsewhere, or were the pesky Rovers fans, correct after all? For the people who want to forget what happened 10 years ago, I apologise in advance of you reading this, but think it is best we remember.
  22. I don't know to be honest, but I bet other people will know.
  23. The connection might become a bit clearer, when you read this. https://www.leaderlive.co.uk/news/15951378.rossett-football-agent-on-perjury-charge-over-1m-transfer/
  24. Just do a companies house search for HSH sports limited and (Company number 09173116) click on people and also check the address. You might find it quite interesting that bit. Do a proper search for the 3 people mentioned and you will see a connection with people connected to the club from days gone by. Put two and two together and you will probably find the answer.
  25. If there are still people at the club, who are gaining more than a fair rate financially, by bringing players and management staff in, then nothing has changed. In the Nelsen interview, he didn’t actually name the person, who called him to tell him to collect his belongings and clear off, without saying bye to anyone, but I’m sure I know who that was. Fast forward 11 years and we are perhaps going to lose 3 players for very little, or nothing very soon and replacements are apparently lined up. Hopefully, they will be at least as good as those we lose and any agent involvement, will be at normal rates of commission.
