I think he probably got it wrong, as he was thinking of something that you can trod in, that then stick to the bottom of your shoe. -

When we have no money to pay to keep the stadium adequately maintained and clean, there will be none for transfers in. -

From, what I have seen in the past, about this, I think the request needs to be made in such a way that everything needs itemising and therefore proof of exactly what the funds are for. In turn, they are then presented to the court and a NOC is given and a bond for the same amount needs to be paid. I believe this bond is now 50%. Given the amount requested, you have to assume that is for the day to day running of the club and not transfers, but does anyone know if that is the case and if what I have posted is accurate? -

I do agree, but the odd person on here, can usually confirm, for definite. -

Do we know if they deposited the 50% in the bond to allow this to e released and then sent the amount to VLL to pay the liabilities? If they haven't, this could be the reason the Travis for sale rumours have started. if it was requested nearly 2 months ago, if it hasn't been sent, there could be major issues. -

I don't know about unseen clues, but there are plenty in the public domain. As already mentioned, a Government body, does not seize property for no reason and is unlikely to prevent them from funding their overseas company, without some assurances, for no valid reason. I am sure it will eventually come out, but as we have seen time after time, the owners, seem to want the fans to believe that they are honourable people and are in this for valid reasons. I would love to know what those reasons are though. -

Imagine a totally innocent company having some of their perfectly innocent business investigated and put through these type of restrictions by HMRC, including property being seized. They would be seriously exposed to being sued and therefore taking a huge risk, doing what they have, with no evidence of wrong doing. I pretty much convinced it’s down to some sort of activity, that is less than 100% legitimate. -

Agreed. Assets are not seized by a Government body, for no reason. There is some serious suspicion there by the looks of things and couple that with the requirements to attend court for permission to send money and the doubts plenty have about the nature of the takeover and I think it is extremely naive, for people to accept, without question, there is nothing dodgy going on. -

Office of Public Affairs | Western Union Admits Anti-Money Laundering and Consumer Fraud Violations, Forfeits $586 Million in Settlement with Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission | United States Department of Justice Above has to make you wonder why Western Union were used at times, for transferring large sums. Pure coincidence? -

So far as I am aware the transfer of the funds from a Western Union money transfer account, were thought to be difficult to trace and layered allegedly, which is a sure sign of money laundering. Making illicitly obtained money difficult to track Layering in money laundering is the process of making illicitly obtained money difficult to track by moving the assets around or changing their nature. This can involve transferring illegal funds through multiple accounts, converting them into different forms such as real estate or gold, or creating complex financial transactions designed to obscure the money's original source. The goal of layering is to confuse authorities and make it harder to trace the origins of the funds. ComplyAdvantage+3 -

I think another narrative has been, it is the only thing they have ever failed at and they want to get it right. That's also a load of nonsense too, in my view. -

Some of what went on, in the early days, did happen and there is plenty of proof, that agents were heavily involved. The big ones, were things like Kean being appointed and he just so happened to be a client of the agent, who brokered the deal and brought the owners to the table. Another big one, was the signing of his son and the leaked letter that followed, questioning payments being requested, for players unknown to the board at that point. The Formica signing and the third party ownership issues there and the Rochina signing and the level of agents fee paid for this. There are plenty of other examples too and in my opinion, these people may well still be involved, only keeping a lower profile. -

Agreed the owners need to go, but perhaps a start would be for one of the family to explain, why they still hold on to the club. Something credible with an explanation behind it, as to how they intend to make it better perhaps, as right now, there is simply no logic in continuing this charade. They cannot continue with the silence and in my opinion, the longer the silence continues, the more suspicious, I will become of some sort of corruption, or third party ownership exists. -

It’s a big own goal, by the club, as we already know. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned yet, is the current shirt sponsors, Watson Ramsbottom solicitors, were the ladies shirt sponsors, previously. Doing what they have, especially given the kind gesture by Dakota Biotech, could well have ruined a potential future men’s sponsor. It’s very short term thinking, by the club. I know Elton Ashworth, who negotiated the shirt deal with the club, is a big fan and it was the deal with the ladies shirt sponsorship, that led to the men’s deal, eventually. Perhaps the coalition, will bring this to the attention of the media and maybe, ask the owner of Dakota, to go on record, with his feelings on this being declined, with any reasons given, for it being rejected. -

Nothing wrong with those statements and as someone has said, the post having a dig, was ironic. To put it in perspective, the club release two lines, when announcing the departure of the CEO who served for 8 years. Much as I disliked him, that was a big departure and should have been given more prominence, but thats the nature of the beast. If a couple of capital letters or a missing comma, here and there are made by the coalition, I don’t care a jot, as I’m loving the fight they are fighting. -

The often quoted £20m per annum loss, means they will be in for another £100m in the next 5 years. Would anyone on here, carry on paying their mortgage, if their house was dropping in value by more than the Mortgage payment every year, unless they had a body buried in the back garden. I guess that simile is ironic, given the finding on Nuttall Street, when Uncle Jack was redeveloping the ground. -

It was probably not common knowledge, where he lived. Whoever owns the property has done so for 27 years, so I suspect he was renting it. Assuming he is to remain in his post for now, he needs to live somewhere and can’t hide from everyone. -

I know the coalition has succeeded in driving Waggott out and are now gunning for the other two. I don't know if it is common knowledge yet, or even significant, but the house in at area where Pasha lives, appears to have been vacated. -

That's one hell of a document to read and I would imagine most ordinary fans (myself included) are unlikely to read it and understand it. Fair play to the coalition for doing so and Mashed Potato too and any other fan who has. -

Can I ask why you went to the trouble to read that and do you have any comments positive or negative to make on it? Can you also let me know where I can find them? Thanks in advance. -
