  1. Anyone up for wearing a Suhail Pasha mask, please let me know. I am in the process of obtaining a price and expect them to be £1.50 - £1.75.
  2. Just a pledge to buy 5 for now is fine. I think they will be around £1.50 each, if we order enough. If there is enough interest, I will order them early next week.
  3. Following on from my suggestion on the Venky's out thread, I have now had a response from the makers of the masks, which I have pasted at the end of this message. I should have a price tomorrow and confirmation if it can be done. I am going to need some pledges and will be happy to fund up to 500 myself, so long, as I can get pledges say for each person on here to buy 5 off me. Wear one yourself and sell 4 to a friend or family member. All to be worn for the Ipswich game, as this game is on TV and I will ensure Sky are aware of it and what the reasons are. If there is enough interest, I will arrange for the delivery and distribution close to the ground and will give instructions on how to collect. Thanks for getting in touch, would the masks be with elastic or sticks? and A4 or A3? To produce high quality face masks we need a forward facing photo that’s a close up of the person’s whole head, with a minimum file-size of 2mb. If you zoom in to the image so that the face is roughly A4 size on a computer screen, you’ll get a very good idea of the final print quality. Please avoid sending screenshots from a mobile phone or tablet, as this will limit the size of the image we receive regardless of the size/quality of the original. Please also avoid Facebook images, as Facebook compresses photos on upload to make them much smaller than the original photo, which means they’re not suitable for facemasks. Kind Regards,
  4. Okay, lets get a price for 2,000. Can we gauge how many would be up for it on here and I can get a site sorted similar to crowd funding, or maybe a paypal account sorted.. Anyone up for it, just say so and see if a friend or two not on here is game too. Let's aim for at least 2,000
  5. Here is a site that makes them Personalised Face Masks | Photo Masks For Hen Do, Stag Do & Birthday Parties | Printster
  6. Just a thought this and feel free to shoot me down. What about getting a couple of thousand Suhail masks and all wearing them for the sky game V Ipswich. He will be on TV x 2,000 then and can hardly hide form that.
  7. It’s all well and good making posts like this, failing to respond, then disappearing for weeks. What is it with you? You have still not stated what it was that you knew after your meeting with Waggott, was going to change the picture for the good and everything was going to be okay. It seems you were pointed in a totally different direction, to what has really happened. If he hoodwinked you, why not man up and say so, as you are beginning to look rather foolish.
  8. Based on the results and points collected so far, 0 wins, 7 draws and 2 defeats, that would bring 35 points over the season and certain relegation. I loved the football under JDT but I am struggling to accept the new manager. If he does keep us up he has done a job I guess, but surely he has got to start at least trying to win. Two more wins and I think we are safe, as I am sure he will pick up 2 or 3 more draws, but although yesterday was a point earned, I am definitely struggling to be contest with 3 points from the last 4 games, given the quality of the opposition.
  9. Between you and me, we don’t have any big money to throw at him.
  10. He has had a decent game Buckley and to be fair, this has been our best half so far under Eustace. We look capable of scoring and date I say it, coming away with an unexpected win. Us fans deserve that for sure, after the last few weeks, so hope we can do it.
  11. I’m in the camp McFadzean is poor too. His age is against him of course, but he is way to slow to play the high line we did last week. Plymouth were not threading balls through, it was a straight forward ball over the top that caught us several times last week. I suspect we will go with a back four today and guess even Eustace now knows, that we desperately need a win. My heart is already pumping, as I do fear at least a two goal defeat, but hope we can play with a bit more freedom today and sneak a win.
  12. For every £ invested in Rovers they are likely to get around 15p back, based on today value.. They are telling the court they are protecting their investment, by sending the funds, but hopefully that little porky has been rumbled. Given the bond and also given the little lie they have spun, they may well live to regret that statement, as it could cost them the value of the bond, but we shall see.
  13. My source is impeccable so I will 100% guarantee that is correct.
  14. I have just spoken to my journalist contact and he doesn't have much information at the minute. He is going to ask around though and let me know what he can. He has done the odd interview with Waggott and did not speak very highly of him and mentioned that he was a member of the press fraternity himself with none other than the daily sport. Something I didn't know, but interesting shall we say.
  15. I am speaking to a client today around 3.00pm, who happens to me a journalist covering MCFC for one of the red tops. He normally has the low down on things, so I will ask him if he knows anything and if there are any rumblings.
  16. I am hoping that Venky's have been well and truly rumbled this time. For those who don't know, I went in to see Waggott in November, after E Mailing him about the article in the Indian press about illegal payments being made by the owners. I asked him about the court hearing carried out, prior to my meeting with him and he was full of bluster about how this was always going to be a formality and given that they had "set a precedent" he enthused that the meeting in March was just to rubber stamp the next tranche. He also disclosed that there was enough money in the bank, for the club to meet it's obligations until February. One thing I have always had at the back of my mind, is that Venky's stated that they were protecting their investment, by sending these funds, which I guess is a backdoor way of saying that unless they are allowed to send further funds, their investment goes bump. As we know, they are under deep scrutiny at the minute, so perhaps someone has had a close look at their investment and maybe decided that pumping £200m into it and finding it to be worth around a quarter of that amount (if that) means any further funds are highly unlikely to be protecting anything, in fact quite the opposite, the funds are simply diminishing almost instantly. It is speculation on my part, but if the Indian authorities are scrutinising funds leaving the country, then maybe they want to know that it is a sound investment and perhaps they are beginning to realise it is far from sound and are on the verge of stopping any further funds being sent. It is then either put the club up for sale, or administration, which may well happen anyway, between now and August.
  17. I honestly believe that it depends on where you live and what your circumstances are, but do accept it might be a step too far for some. I live in a little Spanish Town not far from Alicante and hardly anyone speaks English. Unless you are prepared to learn Spanish, you simply won’t get by. I have spent around 8 years on it, starting in my early fifties. It hasn’t been easy, but I do speak it pretty well. To make matters slightly worse, I have lost 60% of my hearing, so use hearing aids too. I do love a challenge, so feel pretty proud of my achievements.
  18. I'm pretty sure that's not correct. I think he was due a bonus when he left, but nothing like that level, so far as I am aware.
