  1. I have my VPN in place for that very reason and used it when necessary last season. I was travel sick by the end of the season. 🙂 I find the price good value for money for all the home and away games, so will probably renew it again.
  2. Something keeps them coughing up and I have always held the opinion it is due to them having something hidden.
  3. Thanks for that. I think the slight worry is the availability when the game is on Sky, as last season that meant Rovers TV didn’t show it in certain countries. I’m in Spain most of the year, so probably need to check out how many games I can get before buying it.
  4. Just done this and can highly recommend it.
  5. The interesting thing here is what they have told the court. They have stated that if they are prevented from sending further funds, then it means they can no longer protect their investment. Hopefully the court and the Indian authorities will see through that and perhaps, the fact that they have stated that already and funded a bond that will be seized, if what they have stated is not correct could be their tipping point. They can hardly say they are protecting and investment, when all it does is swallow up the funds they put in and produce a negative return.
  6. I do agree and was meaning that the club reconsider their no comment stance, rather than reinstating any players they have let going. Despite no clear announcement about a reduction in funding, it seems pretty clear that this is the case.
  7. Exactly, so he went to those extremes last time, so clearly didn't like it. Step it up again, as anyone who was appeased by the meeting, must surely see, that things are now even worse.
  8. I think the club refusing to comment on it paints a picture here. Hopefully given the backlash, they will reconsider.
  9. I obviously can't vouch for the accuracy of this article, but is does state Blackburn Rovers are set to pay their players £9,000 minimum wage. It could be an increase of course, but does not say, Blackburn Rovers will continue to pay £9,000 so does suggest a change, which seems to be a cut rather than an increase. 10. I get the club needing to get funds in quickly (sad as that is) but why not get them on sale in March like plenty of other clubs and leave them on sale at the same price, come what may. Some will leave it until the last minute, but surely it is swings and roundabouts, if some funds come in 3 months early.
  11. Hi Dunc, There are a few players stating a few things. I will get them to you.
  12. That song last season, I don't care about Venky's ............... repeat and also add a new verse, I don't care about Waggott. I seem to recall Waggott getting every tetchy when the fans were calling for his head, so this needs ramping up.
  13. According to the Twitter articles, there has been a vast reduction in funding and wages, but yet again, the club statement is muddied.
  14. Plenty of Agents have been on the gravy train. The biggest one of all has fled the scene and become invisible, but is he still lurking in the background somewhere?
  15. I don't think they are actually. He did write about there being no impediment on the owners sending funds and also stated that funds have been requested to bring in players and to run the club for the coming season. He has now stated that the budget is tight, so it conflicts with what has been previously been reported.
  16. It can only be a positive in my view having a ladies team then, as despite the limited interest, it still promotes the club and maybe even leads to some of the players and their friends and families, attending the men's matches. Given that Venky's never fail to sign a cheque, a request for funding has been made and they have no impediment to sending funds, what is the real reason?
  17. I am actually beginning to think, that they have forgotten how to tell the truth, or they think every BRFC fan is a gullible moron. At the player of the year award, the back slapping done was incredible and the reference made several times to how wonderful our owners are, just beggars belief.
  18. It is down right depressing what the are up to and I just wish they would be honest. As we know, they have stated that funds have been requested and that Pasha has been over to discuss budgets, but now this. We are back to the miss leading statements again and how this court case does affect Rovers, despite the narrative, that it doesn't.
  19. Does anyone know if this is being streamed?
  20. It might be wishful thinking, but I am convinced they will be found out and this court case will spell the end of them sending funds. That will mean irrespective of anything else, they cannot add that funding statement paragraph to the accounts, which means we trade insolvent.
  21. No doubt about that, but of course the club are stating that they have requested funds to be sent and also stated funds can be sent without impediment. Given the old chestnut “They never fail to sign a cheque”, it sounds like this is beginning to get very serious.
  22. I wonder how much letting all those womens team players leave and putting the rest on 16 hours has saved them? Bearing in mind that the costs for running the ladies team is FFP exempt, this stinks of desperation. I attended the player of the year awards at Ewood and they really bigged the ladies team up. Waggott was amongst those singing their praises too, now this.
  23. That can't be true, when we have such wonderful owners, who never fail to sign a cheque.
  24. It all comes back to this cleverly worded statement in my view, suggesting that: A. There is no impediment for Venky's to fund the club and B. The hearing in August, does not relate to Rovers. Let's face it, we have had a few pages of debate on here about it and a little bit of tension around it too, so job done by Waggott.
