The club were haggling over £500 for the quotation to power wash and spruce up the Blackburn end. It very nearly went to a Manchester firm, instead of a more local one, whose company had bought a corporate season ticket. In the end the local form got it, but only after they had cancelled their application for the corporate and were begged to reinstate it, on the understanding that they would be given the job.

There is very little doubt about it, that getting Suhail to engage in a meeting is a VERY BIG achievement and given the short notice and the lack of preparation (from both side) what has happened there is fair enough. I know the strategy employed to get that meeting, was a solid one and I am encouraged, by what has happened and look forward to the MOU meetings taking place. The court date is still pivotal and will no doubt dictate the agenda for the next meeting, especially, if the owners are still prevented from funding.

I did know about the meeting, in advance, but not being a member of my the trust, or any other official group, did not want to betray any trust and post it. In my view, a simple statement to say a meeting with Suhail, was arranged and the details would be made public in 72 hours, would have stopped all of this negative feedback.

To be fair, we pushed our luck a bit. I live in Spain and fly back tomorrow. I subscribe to Rovers TV and follow the games that way, but do make a few, when I come back. I turned up with my brother who lives nearby and we were approached by Matt Gardener, who asked what we were doing and who we were. He initially thought we were Derby spies, but when he realised we had Blackburn accents, he was really good. Some on here May remember that the Suhail running the show, did raise its head last season. I approached a firm to get a price for some masks with his face on. That never got off the ground, but maybe a campaign to “unmask” the villain in the corridors of Ewood could be the way. To be have a former Kentaro employee, now running the show and advising the owners, sounds like a very dangerous thing to me, so life needs to become uncomfortable for him. It has been done before with Anderson, but is this guy even more slippery and sly, than that rat even?
