Venky’s v Indian Government (a)

If only a certain Mr Waggott knew that, or at least acknowledge it, instead of constantly muddying the waters and claiming everything is fine. -

We will no doubt get the same from Waggott, they can fund us without impediment and a request for funds has gone in. To my knowledge, nothing has been sent since November, so it will be 12 month's by the time the next hearing comes and goes, so beyond that, what happens. As you say, hopefully the trust will now step forward and get some proper answers. -

Not a peep from the powers that be. Here we are a year down the line from the last amount sent ( assuming nothing now until at least after the November hearing) and we have no way of meeting the obligations stated in the accounts, of the owners funding the losses. Yes, we have sold £40m of players, but if this continues to simply rumble on, at each court date, surely, the club is in serious danger. Why the radio silence on it from the EFL amongst others? -

I have had a few smaller wins on Paddy Power and will be taking the £30 on offer this time, as I’m close to completing 50/50 since the City win. Betfair are doing one too on their Sportsbook site. It starts at £1,000 and is 12 questions. -

Thanks, For Joey Big Nose, who asked yesterday, this is one of the reasons, as I stated, why I don’t believe this will be adjourned again. I guess, we are about to find out. I believe there is a live link to the court room that I is being held in, hosted by WebEx. I will try to find a link. -

Thanks. Hopefully, what has been stated about it being the final hearing, is correct. I guess we will soon find out. -

I’m struggling to open the links, but notice there is one to state that today is the final hearing. I know some on here, are worried this will be adjourned again and the can will be kicked, further down to be road. Are you able to provide a separate link to where it was stated, that today will be the final hearing? -

Quite a few things. The main one is the gap between the last adjourned hearing and this one. It was stated after the last adjournment that a decision would be made this time. Another big factor could be a counter claim, as it could be argued that preventing them sending funds, could hamper their chances of moving the club forward, although most on here, would disagree with that of course. The decision is time sensitive and the longer it drags on, the more of a case for a counter claim, they could have. -

This is not being adjourned again, I would almost stake my life on it. -

How many cases does a judge see a day in India? These are usually expected to last about 5 minutes each, so a possession list for a single judge may have 50 cases for the morning and 30 for the afternoon. Small claims trials typically last between 60 - 90 minutes, so a judge may have 4 or 5 of those in a list for a day.Feb 24, 2023 -

I have head he wants to stay, but thinks he is being pushed out of the door. -
I will never forget getting the news about his death. I had split with my now late Ex- wife and therefore took my Rovers supporting kids on the family holiday to France we had planned, on my own. She text me to tell me, as she knew how much it mean to me and the kids. A day, I will never forget.

I guess it is up to us the fans and the various groups to ensure, this does not happen. As we have seen already Waggott has tried to muddy the water, with his various statements on the matter and with the great work WATR did getting Pasha into a meeting, my hope is they are at least going to ensure that the true outcome and where that leaves us, is properly detailed. We can't rely on them alone and I am aware of other groups putting pressure on to ensure the fans are kept in the picture here and they don't try to get way with another brush off. -

I am on leg 7 of beat the drop with Paddy power, who have a special promotion on for a £250k pot. It’s normally £5K and 15 questions, although if you qualify for their weekly £5 free bet, it’s 12 questions not 15. For those who don’t use it, the free to enter game, allows you to choose the outcome of an evenly balanced contest, including horse racing. You can put the lot on one outcome, or go 50/50 or any other split you want. Whatever is in the pot at the end you win. My choice for my next punt at question 7 is the whole £250k on City to win at Chelsea. Should it win and I go 50/50 for the next 13 it’s a guaranteed £30
