Forgive my reaction, but fuck me it costs millions to be interested. They are, in my humble opinion, not interested at all! Just saving face.

I've had this debate with Chaddy in the Leeds thread. His argument is the owners are interested because they continue to piss the rupee/pound up the wall to bank roll us. If they were interested they would sack TM, appoint Hughton and give him a war chest to get us back to where they took us from. That is the answer? Then they might, just might, start to get some begrudging respect, otherwise fuck off.

As it has always been under the Loons, as long as you kowtow to the Indian model you're a rich man. It's appalling. So many have lined their pockets whilst the interests of our club have been ignored.

A bloody manager who knows how to pick a team to win matches, doesn't piss about playing Bennett every week in whatever position on the pitch he wants to play, is ruthless and drops players who don't perform (Armstrong), and plays young and creative players (take your pick). The owners over the last nine years have ground the club, the town and the fan base into the ground. Get real! (Two different uses of the word ground)

How long have you been posting on here and reading about the Loons? They spend money because they don't know what else to do! Tony will spin his season plan, which patently isn't working, because we're not in the bottom three, and Steve runs a tight (shite) ship. They couldn't give a flying shit about the club ffs. If they did they would sack Tony, appoint a proper manager and fund transfers that matter. Strewth!

Most of us on here are!! It's the fucking owners who don't ask the right questions!!

I always worry at HT, as Tony gets to do his motivational speech, and we get worse!

Just to update your Rovers knowledge, our first match was a 1-1 draw against Church (a part now of Hyndburn - Accrington) on the 11th December 1875. I presume it was quite friendly. Parsonblue will let us know! ?

Okay, I get idiocy, and they are mega rich, but why keep spending eye-watering figures keeping afloat something that does nothing to enhance your core product. I don't see any advantages in them laundering money in a country with some of the strictest laws in the world. Pride? What on earth has their tenure done to warrant them to take even a modicum of satisfaction from what they have done to us? So, to save face, they piss money up against the proverbial toilet wall? Is that really it. Saving face? Fools and their money, eh?

This is still what I don't get. However blingingly rich you are, why keep pumping good rupee after bad into a dirty great black hole you have absolutely no interest in?
