I don’t think it’s ‘embarrassing’ to react with disdain after our form since just before Christmas, then going 1-0 down to a L1 team. I do think it’s embarrassing to judge those who did, though.

People do care, but he’s also signed Szmodics, Tronstad, Hyam, Brittain (and imo O’Riordan is a class signing). Plus he’s largely tying players down to contracts that get us fees now. Swings and roundabouts.

I feel likes of X-PAC, Scotty2Hotty, would put on a decent show with a decent pop. Maybe even fully retired types like Kane/Kurt Angle could do it? With respect (I agree with you mainly), he didn’t break any of those three stories. He may have been the first person you read mentioning them, but he didn’t break any.

It has been alleged (and it’s believable given the timeframes) that Shane has known about this kind of behaviour from his father the whole time, and it is the main reason he left the company in the mid00s. Apparently he ‘didn’t want to be like, or endorse’ his father.

Absolutely. That statement (on Facebook and Instagram) is littered with anti-Venky sentiment. Hopefully materialises vs Wrexham!

In fairness, most replies on the official Rovers facebook page are anti-Venkys.
