A lot of pubs have stopped having big screens now for some reason, but , depending on your age I would suggest if your under 25 then go to Harrys Bar on St Georges St, they should have the projector screen on. Over 25 ish, there is a 50 inch TV and a nice 42 inch plasma in Sams Bar, opposite the railway station, round the corner from the bus station. Lager £1.80 a pint, hand pulled bitter at £1.60 and bottles of Perroni for £2.00. Thats were i should be.
As for Astley Village, the last time I went in The Barrons Rest, TVs had not been invented in Chorley.
As for non-smoking, forget it. No chance.
