  1. " A baker near the ground sells pies from his window." Only when he can arsed! Not sure me about Rovers, tempted to stick a tenner on us to win the league, whilst simultaneously sticking a tenner on us to go down.
  2. KANU did have a good game for WBA at Ewood a bit back. Most of the time though these days, he should be KANNOTDO. Ho-ho, good one Ozz.
  3. JJ after failing the audition for the remake of Alien Vs Predator. Pongolle got the gig.
  4. I saw JJ playing for Rovers reserves in a PSF at Chorley, and Wolves fans will remember Chorley His physical presence is a hinderance(he is tiny, like a small kid) and does not appear to have the skill to compensate, like for example SWP. Championship level is probably his best bet.
  5. I think that the score will be Portsmouth Nil, Blackburn Rovers ONE. NELSEN to score if fit, otherwise I think that the goal for Rovers will be scored by Benedict Macarthy.
  6. After his performance against Henry and co at Ewood last season, Todd can do what ever he wants for 12 months in my book. That game he was perfect.
  7. TRUE STORY-last night I dreamt that I was being fellated by a young Wendy Richards out of Eastenders fame, in a pub beer garden somewhere in near White Coppice, but not actually in White Coppice.
  8. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Charlton Athletic?
  9. I tried to get going on Hattrick, but I found it too time consuming and have decided to get out more.
  10. THOSE NEW ZEALAND JOKES IN FULL New Zealand 198 for 9 Dec, England 2-0 at close of play. All Whites 1, Stuart Lubbock 0 Erm, thats it. EJ Thribb, aged 17 1/2
  11. Another stick to bash the Dingles with.. Courtesy Blue.Whites link in Home Kit thread.
  12. Rovers away support is really plumbing new depths Zuschauer: 8.500 (davon ca. 20 Blackburn Fans) I mean 20 fans, in Germany, in summer, for a friendly? I blame the Walkers.
  13. It was the first I've seen of him Den, but in the 45 minutes he was on he was impressive-quick, looking to beat men, direct and keen to get a sniff of the target. Couple of my photos of the match
  14. Rovers reserves beat Chorley three-one this afternoon at Victory Park, Chorley.Blackburn scored in the first minute with a well taken finish from from Matt Derbyshire , which was swiftly equalised by an unknown Chorley man. The academy outfit fielded a decent side, including Jemal Johnson and Matt Derbyshire up front, Andy Taylor and Eddie Nolan at the back and I think Keith Treacey wide on left. Also including I think were Bryan Hodges and Tony Kane After paying £6 to get through the turnstile, the first thing I noticed was the absolutely appalling state of the pitch-extremely hard, with long tufty grass and and an uneven surface all over. This did not benefit Rovers passing style , particulary in the first half. Rovers went ahead after about 25 minutes with a great header form a corner on the right, Nolan the scorer. Half time was 2-1 Rovers. A few changes were made after the break, with Jemal being replaced by Joe Garner, who had a very impressive second half. Derbyshire then got a knock, and back came JJ to form a good looking partnership with Garner. Indeed, after a spell of Rovers pressure, Jemal Johnson was clattered by the Chorley goalkeeper, himself a second half sub for the original and slightly overweight first choice stopper, and from the free kick Johnson cleverly clipped a low right footed shot into the bottom left corner of the Chorley net. Glyn Hodges men were far the fitter side, and despite the rubbish playing surface, played an increasingly quick and slick passing game as the game progressed, with Chorley looking like the poor side they probably are. Final score 3-1 to Rovers, a routine run out for the youngsters.
  15. Dunno 'bout that but I will report back after the Chorley reserves game this afternoon with score etc. Providing I don't get too drunk that is.
  16. I got my new ST this morning, it says Jack Walker Upper at the top and Darwen End Adult at the bottom still.
  17. They should walk out really really slowly, with no music and no emotion, staring blanky forward and not blinking. A bit like an Andy Todd goal celebration.
  18. I think you are remembering a different game Taff, IE Nob End away.
  19. Anyone coming to Chorley on Saturday can you keep the noise down as the cat's still playing up. And take care when parking next a white Ford Galaxy.
  20. On Radio Kerrang they have a voice over or promo or something, and the guy is actually a Tommy Vance impersonator, the legend lives on. Surely they could get a computer to mimic the gravelly TV delivery, all be it with a Steven Hawkins lilt to it?
  21. Eye before C=except after Tea.
  22. Best place for all kids to play, free, no supervision...Click for details.
  23. The away fans will appear to outsing the BBE to you BP as you are sat significantly closer to them. The further away a noise is the quieter it sounds.
  24. Georgis Donis-AbbraKebabra, Streathem High Street.
