  1. Maybe, but I think you get my point.
  2. I say unleash the dogs and kick the living sh¬t out of anything that moves in a burgundy (FFS) shirt. Give them all something to moan about, the soft French b@astards.
  3. Away Day Blues for the Reds... The last quote from Varney sounds interesting...
  4. On our last visit to Highbury in the Premiership, wouldn`t it be nice to get the same result as our first-a one nil win! All we need is Mike Newell, Stuart Ripley and a massive mural with no black faces on it at the North Bank end!
  5. Can I just say that I didn`t follow the link and merely read 4LBs post, thus not making me look a proper twonk?
  6. I know I`d had a couple on Saturday but I don`t remember Reid being in inspirational form and creating chance after chance in a dynamic display .
  7. They also sang "we`re not really here!" The Invisible Man got a mention too. So it must have been Wez and his crew. And they didn`t throw anything at anyone either.
  8. In my opinion he`s not a good premiership footballer. Too inconsistent. Tries hard though.
  9. I was having a pint of Cystal in The Mitre yesterday, you know the one near Selfidges? Anyway, it turned out he was waiting for a train to Darwen to go and watch FC United! He used to go to Old Trafford but gave up acouple of years ago to watch the little team play instead.
  10. The role of a premiership footballer?

    George Best R.I.P.

Front page of the NOTW this morning has a photo of Best, looking, well, erm past his best. Made me think about stopping drinking. Well, cutting down. On shorts. During the week. Someone give a bottle of vodka and put him out of his misery.
  12. 25,000+ at Carrow Road for the visit of Luton 30,000+ at St Marys for the local derby with Leeds Whats going on?
  13. Bring in Keane and sell Robbie to United. Job sorted.
  14. If Manchester City avoid relegation this season, it will equal their best ever run of consecutives seasons in the Premiership. From the inaugral season of 1992-93 City managed four seasons in the newly created top flight beofre succumbing to the drop in 1996.
  15. City are a massive club, it`s just that they haven`t won any thing in the last 30 years. They`re not alone in that, just ask the Geordies, the Brum fans, Sunderland fans, Sheffields clubs etc etc. Thats one of the things that narks big clubs fans about Rovers. We`re la tiny little club, with no fans, who don`t sing, don`t go away, and yet we still win more than them. Thats one of things that 1700+ a few Rovers fans on Saturday love! We can win things despite all the above! City fans I know are fairly kind to Rovers, they acknowledge we out perform them most years, and usually make a joke about it too. More than can be said about most Geordies and Birmingham City fans.
  16. More short-sighted stereo-typing from ignorant rivals... City Forum And again... Bitter and Twisted?
  17. He`s probably still paying for Mrs Hendrys operations.
  18. We will if we only ask for 1700 tickets.
  19. People just took it for granted there would be loads of tickets , and wouldn`t sell out, as is the case with most away games (and home ones too!).
  20. Liverpool.
  21. And the cheapest seats in E04 in the Riverside work out at £13 a game!!!
  22. Lee, for a half season ticket ticket in the Darwen End the club site link states £272 for an adult. When does the the ticket become `active`, IE which is the first game? If if starts 28th December then thats 11 games, including all the North West derbies at except Everton(no loss there). Price equates to £24 a match, £1 less than a standard Cat B game . If at the start of the season someone looked at those figures there would have been even less full season ticket sales sold pre-season! Maybe some folk cottoned on to this?
  23. Hmmm, not normally a problem at Ewood, sunshine is it!
