  1. Savage making a point of walking uo to every stand and kissing the Rovers badge in an over the top camp way at full time. He really is a w@nker!
  2. I walk down the LBR and sit in the Darwen End. I did not see any leaflets, or adverts at all today. I was also looking out for them.
  3. Amazingly kind words here from a decent pundit... Do they mean us?
  4. If you don`t won`t the hot dog I`ll have it. I`m row 21.
  5. Is that for the DarwenEnd Jim ?
  6. When he played for Rovers, the most popular chant for DD was "Dunny for England!". At St Andrews they now chant "Dunny for Birmingham!". About the same chance I suppose. Poor old Dunny. He`s never been the same since Fab Ravinelli leathered him at Pride Park first game back in the prem. He then aggravated his knees when attempting his round house back-to-front flick as seen on Cockers old sig. Maybe he could do the draw again with Beamo at half time tomorrow?
  7. More good news is that Mario Melchiot is out injured. I thought he was their best player last season at our place, big strong quick and really dangerous going forward. Pennant Vs Gray? Should be a busy boy our Mickey tomorrow lunchtime.
  8. Will Amorouso play, I could do with a laugh.
  9. Only if you want him to score a 25 yarder in the middle of the goal.
  10. Is it true Sepp Blatters wife is called Fanny?
  11. I thought we were singing "Cisse Cisse how`s your Peg?" in reference to the newly wed Mrs Cisse, the Duchess of Frodsham. Just shows how wrong you can be!
  12. There were approx 1900 Rovers fans, all our allocation. If you think that chant was sick, then you should have watched football in the 70s and 80s. Modern football is like a WI meeting in comparison.
  13. By my reckoning, Crouch won two headers during his time on the pitch on Saturday, whilst not winning approx twelve.
  14. I thought he had a pretty good game myself, loads of energy, put the blocks on a lot of Liverpool moves. I just wish he could stop gobbing off every time he gots a foul given against him. He debates every single decision, even obvius fouls. Thats what winds opposition up. 7/10 for Sat, would be more, but like Waggy says, gave away one too many free kicks.....
  15. Emerton always plays better when he comes on a sub.Strange, but true. Maybe he should be sub every week, then Hughes brings him after 2 minutes.
  16. If it takes an away team chant to get Cisse suitably motivated enough to think " Right, I`m really gonna try and score now," then he is ripping Liverpool FC off. I only wish Savage/Dickov/Neill/Bellamy were similarly orientated.
  17. Halsey initally gave a penalty, then changed his mind. It happended at Anfield before, in the "Champions" league V Roma I think. Then the linesman told him it was a free kick. I would have prefered a penalty, and a yellow card than free kick and a red. Sat in the Centenary stand, Rovers end was full. Not very loud from up there though.
  18. I have managed to get invited onto a corporate do in the the Centenary stand for tomorrow, and will be drinking in Liverpool from 11.52 AM. Expect another "scene" A LA Goodison last season in the upper Centenary Stand when Rovers score.
  19. Well spotted. Now, who does Billy Liddell drive for?
  20. I heard he was very nervous on crosses.
  21. Here are a shed load, some quite amusing(Willie Stroker, Robin Andis Merryman, Harry R. M. Pitts) Loads of `Real Names` here
  22. 50 pence a minute wouldn`t be allowed by Oftel...
  23. We normally drink in town, then get a taxi up to Anfield. Two years ago Ron Atkinsons brother was our taxi driver.
  24. Had a search round the net for LFC boards to gauge how they were looking at the game, but cannot find any previews on any of the (numerous) sites. Any one find owt?
  25. By the looks of Wardy it looks like quality gear...
