  1. I finally got a leaflet last night( Sat in JW upper(£12-nice view)). Also saw the interview at half time, and heard Livers reading of the leaflet too. Much better promotional work there. Two questions, one how long is the meeting expected to run tomorrow, and two will there be sandwiches(should I have me tea first?)?
  2. Why don`t we shoot from outside thebox? Loads of times in the first half, we had men bursting throught to the endge of the box, only to stop, look around and play an daft sideways ball. Kizanishvanilli went off, was he injured? I hope he`s OK for Saturday as I was petrified by the Axe at CH. His first touch he nearly gave the ball away on the edge of our box! I also noted Bellamy has a touch of the Dickovs-moans when the ball isn`t exactly played where he wants it! He`d better get used to that! Remember, this was close to a full strengh team so dont get carried away with the result-Leeds, apart from Healy who I thought ran th eline very well-were shoddy, esp at the back. Some woeful finishing in the first half from Rovers.
  3. Hope it doesn`t go to extra time or pens, it`s the last ever episode of Six Feet Under on E4 at 10pm.
  4. Erm, now it`s gone dead sunny!
  5. It would be ace to see if Jansen and Bellamy could play together, and Bellamy bringing the best out of Matt. I reckon it would scare the sluggish lookin Leeds back four. BTW anyone coming tonight I suggest umbrellas, sowesters and swimming goggles-it`s fair lashing it down outside.
  6. Right! It must have just been the Darwen end then, OK? Happy now?
  7. The boy`s a prick, but at least he`s our prick.
  8. Every seat in the ground on Saturday had Kick Racism Out of Football posters taped to it before kick off. There where badges worn by the players and officals, and shed loads of other material promoting the cause. On several occasions when Pennant got the ball on Saturday, some guy several rows back from me shouted "F~~~ Off Pennant you Black Jailbird @#/?". Now I couldn`t work out who it was, but I reckon the stewards/Evidence Gatherers with cameras who picked on two young girls for giving the Vees to Brum fans could possibly have done so. This was in the Darwen End which had in my opinion the largest Asian contingent in it I`ve seen at Rovers.
  9. The I in ICF stood for Inter, as in Inter City Firm, they travelled away on the Inter City trains.
  10. Birmingham fans chanted songs about being a big club yesterday. Quite a bitter lot their supporters. There was even an outing for the 80s St Andrews classic" Zulus gonna get yer!". Just because they were losing. Also what about 13 year old Jordan at half time? Sensational performance, hope the academy saw it.
  11. Savage making a point of walking uo to every stand and kissing the Rovers badge in an over the top camp way at full time. He really is a w@nker!
  12. I walk down the LBR and sit in the Darwen End. I did not see any leaflets, or adverts at all today. I was also looking out for them.
  13. Amazingly kind words here from a decent pundit... Do they mean us?
  14. If you don`t won`t the hot dog I`ll have it. I`m row 21.
  15. Is that for the DarwenEnd Jim ?
  16. When he played for Rovers, the most popular chant for DD was "Dunny for England!". At St Andrews they now chant "Dunny for Birmingham!". About the same chance I suppose. Poor old Dunny. He`s never been the same since Fab Ravinelli leathered him at Pride Park first game back in the prem. He then aggravated his knees when attempting his round house back-to-front flick as seen on Cockers old sig. Maybe he could do the draw again with Beamo at half time tomorrow?
  17. More good news is that Mario Melchiot is out injured. I thought he was their best player last season at our place, big strong quick and really dangerous going forward. Pennant Vs Gray? Should be a busy boy our Mickey tomorrow lunchtime.
  18. Will Amorouso play, I could do with a laugh.
  19. Only if you want him to score a 25 yarder in the middle of the goal.
  20. Is it true Sepp Blatters wife is called Fanny?
  21. I thought we were singing "Cisse Cisse how`s your Peg?" in reference to the newly wed Mrs Cisse, the Duchess of Frodsham. Just shows how wrong you can be!
  22. There were approx 1900 Rovers fans, all our allocation. If you think that chant was sick, then you should have watched football in the 70s and 80s. Modern football is like a WI meeting in comparison.
  23. By my reckoning, Crouch won two headers during his time on the pitch on Saturday, whilst not winning approx twelve.
  24. I thought he had a pretty good game myself, loads of energy, put the blocks on a lot of Liverpool moves. I just wish he could stop gobbing off every time he gots a foul given against him. He debates every single decision, even obvius fouls. Thats what winds opposition up. 7/10 for Sat, would be more, but like Waggy says, gave away one too many free kicks.....
  25. Emerton always plays better when he comes on a sub.Strange, but true. Maybe he should be sub every week, then Hughes brings him after 2 minutes.
