Twisted his ankle when taking that weak shot. I saw it happen in play so cant work out why Mowbray thought it might be a kick. I do understand though why TM was not sure about time out as ankle twists/sprains can vary a lot.

Anything less than a win v Millwall will be very disappointing and a severe knock to our playoff hopes and remaining confidence. In reality there is nothing to fear in this league, ok maybe Fulham, but fear itself so it's down to Mowbray and his staff to get the team up for what will be another physical battle. I think we will win.

Hedges has a GPG rate not far of Gallagher's and is more of a wide striker/ winger than SG will ever be. SG is taller but useless at heading onwards when played wide.

Warton is PL ready. I would have Wharton before the accident known as Harry Maguire. Once he improves on heading towards the oppo goal he will be gone or we will be in the PL. Someone else mentioned our diagonal balls. They should stop. The only one half decent at them is Lenihan. We were good in the 2nd half and just about deserved a win. WBA had their chances though and only Dolan's quick thinking and acrobatics saved us from an underserved defeat. BBD improved a lot as the game progressed as did Buckley. Someone has had that long overdue word with him about striking hard at goal. Unlike some others I thought Rothwell had a decent game. We have no one else who can take the ball a long way and into dangerous areas so quickly. I think he suffers criticism because when he is at the top of his game he is quite brilliant so less than that gets criticised. If he could do it every game it would not be with us, unless we were in the PL. I have already had my say on JRC and SG so will waste no more words on trash.

In defence of Lowe (well someone has to, he did, somehow, where the shirt for years) I think his passing accuracy was quite high. Backwards, sideways, backwards, sideways ad infinitum. He was also very versatile and usually poor wherever he played.

When he said it I got the impression even he didn't believe it but knew JRC needed some 'protection' - or maybe he did for the selection. I do think his mouth is in 4th gear with brain in 2nd.

Good point considering we started with JRC and Gallagher, so effectively with 9 players. Back 3 immense, Buckley at last trying to really strike the ball. Listening to Mowbray he thought JRC played well and will stick with false 9 with Dack to challenge Buckley for the slot. This means SG plays most games imo.
