  1. You do the 'fake news' quite well. I'll give you that. Or you're pissed.
  2. To quote: ''because we had a mid/lower table budget'' Budget - Funds - get it? We got to a playoff final and won the FMC. On what planet is that failure?
  3. Saxton and McKay never had the 80s equivalent of today's 5 million to spend on one player. Twice. I must have dreamt being at Selhurst to watch a playoff final 2nd leg and see us robbed by a referee. Probably an age thing, memory and stuff like that. And the other challenges of that time.
  4. Good post and matches my views apart from 'softened my stance' where I never did although I do remember giving him credit after a win ...once at least. Meanwhile the Mowbray fanboys are ecstatic with 2 good months which still leaves us top 6 after an appalling 2022 only because the rest of this league is below average shite. I would not use the scout's report posted by someone else as arse paper.
  5. I was wide awake in the wee hours after watching the Test match and put the RM v PSG game on with PSG now leading the tie 2-0. And then it happened! From 60 mins on should be compulsory viewing for our 'strikers' at Rovers.
  6. After 3 years of M, V & L trying to make him into something he's not and now at age 26 he's probably in need of therapy more than coaching. They have systematically ruined whatever potential he had as a footballer BUT being a 'decent' chap our Manager has protected his livelihood for a few years more with an undeserved contact renewal.
  7. None that would be PL ready by next season, just like all our management and coaching staff and CEO or whatever his title is today. Not that the latter mentioned wants it anyway, imho.
  8. He should be given a sentence ................. just not at Ewood.
  9. The constant repetition of the storyline that we seriously went for strikers in January does not make this particular 'big lie' true. FFS even our Manager says we didn't when we could have.
  10. If Mowbray gets wind of suggestions to play a big aggressive defender as a striker I swear he will take to his bed, as he would if the suggestion was for a big aggressive striker as a striker. He'd be the phone to Pep and Klopp for therapy sessions.
  11. I am sure they have but he was the same prior to those injuries. The QPR incident had nothing to do with Gallagher bravery, just his clumsiness in missing the cross and the 'bravery' of a man going in feet first.
  12. I was not able to watch the game live and so far have only seen the 'highlights'. I will get around to watching a full replay ... maybe, maybe not. Anyway: JRC - it was a good chance, at least he hit it hard enough. Gallagher - words fail me. The 2nd time recently that he has failed to get on the end of an inswinging cross for a toe poke goal. No anticipation, no bravery. Fecking useless waste of space. Buckley - at least he hit it hard but no aim as he was already turning to start his goal celebration. Score first ..idiot. Lenihan - he is just no good at aiming headers at goal. Never really has been. Non directional defensive headers are his limit. From the above 4 decent chances 2 should have been scored with no excuses, Buckley and Gallagher. I think it is common knowledge that I am no fan of Mowbray but he didn't miss the open goals.
  13. Anyone get a perfect view of Lee's DRS dismissal? The ball looked rather adjacent to the bat. My PC monitor pixels are on the way out. Ooops Crawley gone to. On to ''Reset'' Mk2 I suppose ........
  14. I sincerely hope that you are right and that he bags a goal or assist tonight to shut me up.
  15. He could have done them to perfection, they just hadn't been invented in dance studios back then.
  16. I saw Douglas live, a genius who could do it all. Dolan is miles away from that but still developing.
  17. It is Mowbray brainwashing fools into believing he has some special methods and plans and actually knows what he is doing. Just part of the much larger Mowbray ego trip, also known as 'The Journey'
  18. Score a friggin goal! That will entertain me, not stationary stepover tarting about.
  19. He needs to stay or the dressing room gossip and leaks may dry up.
  20. Everton have only been at level 2 for a total of 4 seasons and not since 1954. All their other (118?) seasons were all at level 1, although they sometimes only just hung in there during the early 1980s, during the 1990s into the early 2000s
  21. Being able to pass first time and receive, turn and pass in one movement helps
  22. Surridge leading the Forest front line well. Forest have 2 goals from set pieces. We work from a different manual. Good game. Young Pearson gets an unexpected credit for not doing a dying swan act after that push and then getting a bit of afters albeit on the wrong player.
  23. The Ireland of South America
  24. The 5th placed team goes into a playoff match v an Asian Federation team.
