We have an opening bat who looks like a cross between a wannabe rock-star, a hobo and a bag-lady who has a stance that looks like he shits standing up. It gets worse. Beyond pathetic. I'm watching on Fox Aus and have to say the Aus commentators are being as fair as possible to England and not taking the piss, which I would be in their shoes. I'm pretty sure England were deliberately throwing their wickets away from Billings down. Scumbags.

This or a first view by replay of an apparently poor Rovers game? Choices ..... I think I'll watch some Harry Enfield ....
-
Nothing conclusive? Bloody hell, you could drive a bus through that gap. It was like football VAR, desperately searching. Burns, correctly and obviously for anyone with any vision in either eye, given not out. * Burns soon out but if England can't win from this position its a poor do

v Cardiff (a) - 15/1/22 - 12.30pm kick off
AllRoverAsia replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Streamamg, not the club. They were overloaded on server. A few days ago Cardiff TV were asking people to buy passes early as Streamamg (who Cardiff also use) needed to know what load to expect ........ I saw nothing. I hope the replay works but maybe we should set up a schedule so we dont overload it again.😒 Fucking shambles caused by Waggott buying the cheapest Streamamg package. With the refunds it would appear that Waggotts scrooge tactics have lost the club all the income from probably the most subscribed for game so far this season on RoversTV. You could not make this up. -
2 or 3 days to acclimatise and then play at such altitude? Sheer madness, and from someone who lived and worked at such altitude. Also quite potentially harmful to the individual.

Premier League season 21/22

I will be sorry when she does. Selling your main striker mid season never ends well. A Rovers fan of my years knows that to their cost and we may just do that madness again quite soon. -

The only way we will not play Burnley next season is if we get promoted. Dingles are doomed. -

I've come up with 'real centre forward' I know it's not been tried before in the history of football but maybe worth a go.😲 -
This is the main point. The guy watching the video, thwarted in denying the goal for offside, goes in search of any other reason and then puts the pressure back on the Ref, who has as you identify already seen and dismissed the collision incident, by asking him to relook. The Ref, as happens 90% of the time , panics and cops out. The Ref must be strong and go with his original decision that the collision did not influence the outcome and any reasonable thinking person would go with that. This sort for bad decision making is what gives VAR a bad name.
-
Yes, that's what I thought. Thanks.
-
Who was offside?

Can you imagine a game with VAR being referred by the likes of Stroud to name but one incompetent. In a Cup competition I do agree that all or none should use it.
-
I could tolerate it if all such comings together were punished. They are not. It is selective. Nothing wrong with VAR just the human interference.
-
The ball will have a rest day with both teams content to kick each other. The game will not feature in my viewing list.
-
They micro search for any plausible reason to deny a goal. This time a mild incident which had no impact on the goal being scored. The sort that Oliver would have given as a goal had MU been the scorers.
-
He looked a very unhappy young man and has done in other recent games I've seen. Most odd.

Similar nonsense in Lancs Live ratings where Crooke gave Pears a 3. He did go on to say it was the lowest rating he had ever given. I would object to a 1 , unless you get a 1 for putting boots on the correct feet. -

OK I will make it easier. 1. We are singing from the same hymn sheet. 2. The match commentator criticised Ayala's header, not me. 3. As I have already stated, and before you did, I was also taught to head downwards. 4. I really hope that clears it up. -

I guess that ex Liverpool keeper has to be a contender. But so many in one game. OMG. -

He was not exposed to much but coped quite well. Excellent? well ok, but really just doing his job. He made 4 major errors yesterday in one match. 4. 3 resulted in goals and he got incredibly lucky on the other. Have you seen similar before in professional football? I haven't. I don't have to be all Rah Rah when crap is blatantly obvious. -

Of course. A bounce makes it so difficult for a keeper to judge the angles. If close in a downwards header is the way to go or it was accordinging to one of my coaches, an ex pro striker with Southport and Tranmere.
