  1. Rovers are on Sky. It will be a crap performance by us and hopefully a crappier one by PNE. It's what we do on Sky who will be left once again wondering WTF did we pick that lot.
  2. I was going to edit my earlier post but wickets were falling so quickly I never got round to it.😉 Great win and well done to all ... including the wicket.
  3. We had an out of season thunderstorm this morning and more forecast during today. Unusual as its still the dry season here and first rains usually bring a power outage. Anyway fingers crossed as the final day starts. Just got a feeling India may do it.
  4. Good, well done Jimmy. Sensible lad.
  5. Everyone needs a cat to kick, especially after bad news. Sounds unfair but that's football, that's life.
  6. I read his latest. I can't even get angry anymore. Basket case manager.
  7. Flooding the team with forwards and still losing was the tactic that got Mowbray sacked at Celtic. There is still hope.
  8. Well that was a disappointment. We finish the game with 3 teenage loans onfield. How to build a Team, how to build a Club ... Well I will say this, that isn't the fucking way. Journey my arse, Road to Nowhere more like.
  9. Me too. The false 9 means no striker? Is that correct? If so why tf did we spend the first 10 mins pumping long balls to no one?
  10. On the wagon. Age and previous over enjoyment of the amber nectar have finally caught up with me. Its a blessing really. Sobriety is surprisingly pleasant and means I will make it through to watch the Calcutta Cup. Liam just departed but a decent knock by him.
  11. Good call and fits into the Sofa Schedule very nicely
  12. I think Ashwin over does the 'fake' bowl, Its a bit irritating. Root is just CLASS. Just about to take a break from the Test and watch the T20 Big Bash Final. What a great day, all this top cricket and Rovers yet to come.
  13. Sticking plasters for the CB situation that we have (sick-notes or cards waiting to happen) which has been created by Mowbray, nothing at all to do with any promotion push. Possibly with guaranteed playing time in lieu of (part) wage contribution.
  14. That's a joke .... right? Anyway it got my day started with a bloody good laugh. Thanks
  15. Great win!, made all the better by Luton being a party to their own demise. It was so nice to see them moaning post goal to the Ref as cover for their group failure and to see their shithouse of a manager scurry down the tunnel. Proper Two-Hat that one. I actually thought Elliott was having a decent game. Fantastic first touch, good movement and passing and putting a foot in more than I'd seen him do previously. The one thing he lacks is true pace. I will not (ever) be signing up to the forgive Vs movement but will cut Mowbray some slack, doing well indeed.
  16. I truly cannot see us getting above any of the current Top 6. Bournemouth will not continue a downward spiral. Maybe Reading could implode again, they also went into a bit of a spiral but have recovered My only hope is that we finish above Preston. We are not on a Journey, it's an Expedition led by someone who can't read a map.
  17. If the owners aren't as thick as pig-shit like ours are and if the agents are also working in the Clubs best interests its the best thing since sliced bread was invented. A classic Win-Win-Win
  18. Mowbray always wanted to manage Ayala. At his love team Boro the dream was shattered when Mowbray was fired (after a run of two wins in 12 games) just 2 days before Ayala came in on loan, having been scouted & recruited by Mowbray. Fast forward ... Ayala now a well known sicknote, January tourist and getting to past it sell by date .. so our Tony, in a football world financially shattered by Covid and FFP gives him a 3 year contract. Job done. Yes due to Mowbrays negligence we desperately needed a CB so we got one, but come on ... a THREE fecking year contract ....... Ayala will not play a single seasons worth of games for us in those 3 years.
  19. The is a fair amount of tunnel vision on here. Fry is over 6'2'' and got kicked in the head whilst not ducking down. And somehow Warnock is the culprit and not the professional footballer who did it. Ohhhhh hes a youngster, he will learn .....I worry about some of you. If Morsy had done it there would have been a lynch mob on a bus to Boro. Exhibit A:
  20. I have always believed that Rodrigues could have avoided the contact and chose not too. I agree with you on the Branthwaite incident - the rules call it 'careless'
