I was just having a general look around the site and went into my own Profile and 'Activity' section I noticed that where I have replied to a post the Posters name is invariably incorrect, although it does show a real MB members name. I have not been in that section of the site for quite a while so have no idea if this is a long term gremlin or not.

I wondered how it would be until 'next season' and 'consolidation' appeared. TM has already spoken of a promotion push so anything else will be a poor do.

I got lucky. Cartilage and groin strain plagued me and my hips are dodgy but no major breaks like that. I saw plenty, but never caused one I'm happy to say.

Thing is it has crept into the game over the past few years below rules radar. Teams should as you say play to the whistle. The feature of this incident was the Leeds player feigning to play the ball out which Villa bought and from then on were on the back foot. That was, in the context of teams now expecting the ball to go into touch in such situations, wrong by Leeds. No whistle had gone so I don't blame the Leeds player from going on to try and succeed in scoring, he still had work to do. If he had stopped he then has to explain himself to 40K irate Leeds fans - not an option. Bamford was pitiful and I had the same thought about cameras and awareness. Shame that as Bamford is some player.

I agree that the Villa player hurt himself in that incident by a clumsy challenge.

I think Bamford will be done for 'deception' of a match official, at least a 2 game ban. Shameful behaviour by a few Leeds players. I am sorry Jansson did not succeed in stopping the Villa goal. It would have been hilarious seeing Bielsa make them do the 'concede' routine again. Not sure yet but I think the Leeds scorer was offside anyway.

After the first goal, when he fell over like a tall tree falling, he did fine. There was one cross I think he punched well clear, unless I missed someone heading it. He is not the GK answer though.

T20 is a mix of baseball and golf played by cricket rules which makes it very watchable to the masses. T20 is like going into a Burger joint and having it eaten 5 minutes later. Proper cricket is going into a restaurant and having a fine dining experience. A lot of Burgers get sold!
