  1. I am sure the App will have its teething problems too. I not rushing either.
  2. On the Rovers website the pre-season friendlies no longer show as 'live' on iFollow, this includes the now confirmed game in Austria v Sparta Prague. Yesterday iFollow Support advised that the android app is not yet available but it will be 'before the season starts' but could not give any date of release. I need it as iFollow cannot/will not work on an android browser.
  3. The 'Link' is a must read
  4. Choose a vpn location that allows payment by paypal as well as cc. No billing address asked for in the case of paypal. Tunnelbear + iFollow still a relatively cheap way to watch 46 live + the other Rovers stuff available. I think it is based on your IP. Billing addresses usual when paying by CC to verify the card.
  5. Incredible play acting video and the olayer got deserved result: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/26/brazilian-footballer-sent-theatrically-awful-dive/
  6. Whilst waiting on the app to be issued I had a look at NeuLion who do the online video delivery for iFollow, very good quality on an android phone browser: http://videoden.neulion.com/#!home?VC_pid=271
  7. The EFL iFollow app is still not available. There is an app in Play Store already called iFollow. Advertised as being an SOS device for ladies personal safety. Not much research made by the EFL and partners.
  8. In the UK etc limit access which is via a clubs website to away games only. Attendances would cope with that and iFollow would sell loads so clubs would still get revenue. Hardcore would still travel away. Nothing replaces an away day exprience and might even make clubs try to improve on it. Embrace technology. I was just thinking that it is in Sky and BT interests to be against iFollow live EFL games to UK residents. These outfits want everything. It is a small stretch in imagination to foresee Sky offering EFL games live on demand for a payment. The games are already being filmed. The 3 pm rule would just disappear.
  9. Yes exactly what I got back re Paypal. Arse/elbow was my first thought when I saw their email However has anyone actually succeeded yet in paying with Paypal? I didn't go that far in the process. Make sure the android app actually works first. It's like a Windows OS new release dilemma
  10. Good question. Can you get all the Sky Sport channels? If you can then probably not. Email iFollow Support at: ifollow@efl.com, they have been responsive to my questions.
  11. Football Formations - Never Mind The @#/? To quote John Lydon in his 2014 autobiography, ‘Anger is an Energy’ “Over-analysis of football is a modern-day problem. It should be chaos out there and it really is, actually, no matter how they try to plan it ... You can over-strategise and purchase all the best players, but still that might not work. It’s something about the personality blend and the confidence a manager can instil in a team that makes a team successful and exciting to watch … All this rubbish about zonal marking and so on is confusing. I mean, come on!”
  12. The photos above are best I can do. I am on an android phone and took pic with the wifes phone and sent it back to myself by Line. This is me and IT:
  13. But we know it can be Paypalled from HK & TH
  14. when I went to highlight paypal option this came up with no address requirement..so far
  15. This is what I am seeing:
  16. Are you already registered via a Free Pass via the Rovers site. It was there I got the paypal option.
  17. No email back from efl yet but I logged on, hit subscribe and given CC and Paypal payment options. CC requires a billing address BUT Paypal does not. note: iFollow video or live stream will not work on an Android browser. The Android app is needed but not available yet.
  18. Quite right. Duffy another example. Mulgrew wants away. He's out for sure IF an acceptable (no idea!) offer arrives. I do believe that unlike Marshall and Duffy that CM would still try his best if the Vs play hardball to up a fee.
  19. Agreed and TM is astute enough to have contingency plans, which can get clobbered by last day/hour transfer activity which the Vs are good at......one way first though.
  20. Mulgrew wants to stay in the Championship. He's gone if a buyer appears who wants a short term punt on someone quite a bit injury prone. Mowbray must be planning to replace if he goes. I want Mulgrew to stay with first choice CBs starting as Mulgrew and Lenihan. Lenihan too may attract bids. We still need pace in midfield and forward.
  21. Barrand? Is the quote from a Bolton MB? Good point you raise on access if any to other club's games. I can see on demand as a buy option being introduced.
  22. I will also send them an email re paypal and see what happens. It is very much a work in progress. Hence my reluctance to fully subscribe too soon. On the basis that Rovers film all games anyway it's no great leap to put them out live via the iFollow system already in place. My theory applies to friendlies and youth level too
  23. Yes. My thinking is to register now via VPN but not subscribe until nearer live game transmission when things will be clearer. Does the App work ok? The IP or CC factor? Will live match streams appear on the web? Can payment be by paypal? Etc. I'm abroad so I've joined now on Free Pass not using a VPN just to test its quality when the App comes out. Then decide on buying. I watch ALL uk based sports tv channels from here already and those links are not personal to me.
  24. Suggestion: Register via a VPN a 'Free Pass' account with iFollow via the Rovers site. Download the App when it's issued and test it on the videos that such access gives. Personally I think your IP address is the important factor not where your card is. iFollow want new subscribers. The investment into this project is huge. Perth - can you pay by Paypal?
  25. And some real pace, which currently we are short of in most areas.
