  1. I think you will find that roads have been around longer than wheeled vehicles run by engines.
  2. R.I.P. Chris Thompson. A good honest player.
  3. Very sad news and a great loss to football. God bless him and all his family.
  4. Thanks I will look again. Me being stupid - an age thing
  5. Off topic but how can I post photos?? Can't see any help?
  6. Kean talks about Jensen departure Kean - Jensen & Man City
  7. Yep I thought the same - another one today was ''Rovers sign French Defender'', Chimbonda to Doncaster
  8. Director of Pantomime ? as least we might have a chance of putting a show on by Christmas. Ginger baldy and his girlfriend Jas to star as the Ugly Sisters.
  9. If Kean is involved in the departure of Jensen it looks like the ginger baldy with the SH1T-EATING GRIN is trying to buy himself more time. I have supported Rovers ever since watching my first Rovers game at Ewood on 7th Septemder 1963. I truly despise Kean and have very little respect for our owners. You are quickly destroying what good hard working people have built up over many years. How can you be so plain stupid?
  10. audio on http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006260665,00.html Yes the Sun!
  11. I can remember - more or less - back to the England team of 1966. Since then has there been a striker/centre forward worse than Crouch to play for England? Maybe there has but none spring to mind.
  12. That was simply NOT a penalty. Mreck is cheating either or the take or under FIFA orders to get another African team through. Disgraceful. An England fan with absolutely no USA Septic Tank bias.
  13. I saw Rovers for the first time 1963 - home v Spurs. That was a highlight for sure as was meeting and having a drink with Ronnie Clayton and Bryan Douglas after the Lazio friendly a few years ago.
  14. And Robbie could hold Michaels betting slips
  15. If Owen is not fit (and he sems to be doing a good Scousers job at covering his ar.. by not playing in the League) and if Rooney is not fit (and he will not be!) they simply put we will be a joke up front. I think it's Sven giving us all 2 fingers. As far as Hargreaves is concerned I can only assume that Sven is HER boyfrend. Nevermind I'll still be up late to cheer .. p...ed maybe
  16. Emerton!! Bently!! Savage!! Pederson!! I've sh*t better. A fine line betwen success and failure at the top level and Rovers are borderline crap. Unless some height is put in the side next season will be back to a struggle. Playing with midgets doesn't work. Losing to that lot is the pits FFS!
  17. What a kind hearted lot you are to consider sitting with a bunch of Geordies and Haggis bashers. Personally I think Shearer should have gone straight into retirement after he left Rovers and not spend his twilight years in a backwater winning nothing but scoring the odd penalty. What a waste.
  18. and at least there is a half decent ref in UR - I never thought I'd say that
  19. I haven't read any other posts before writing this. I saw the game live on TV and saw the ''goal'' replayed many times. The question surely is how could Wiley possibly allow it. Are they subject to any form of investigation afterwards as to why they took this sort of decision? The old guy with the flag was on the wrong side to see if Cisse went for the ball so the decision had to be Wiley's. It's ok saying it is all part of the game and that these things even themselves out over a season - I also subscribe to that theory - but I would love to know what went through Wiley's mind at the time. If he is put on the spot by his ''superiors'' what defence for the decision could he possibly offer. In Asia we are blessed with massive Premiership coverage thanks to ESPNStar but over the past couple of seasons I have become disillusioned as too many games are being decided by controversial refereeing decisions - usually against the so-called ''smaller'' teams and I do not mean just Rovers. The referees themselves appear to be above the law and they must be held more accountable for these decisions. I am greatly dismayed with the age of the 'superstar' referee and hopefully in time true professional referees with appear as the transition phase passes and we get rid of the likes of Wiley, Poll and in fact most of the current crop of referees. Simply put I just want to watch a game of football where football wins and not just watch a referee on his weekly ego trip. Having said that Wiley's decison doesn't excuse Rovers inability to get a decent shot on taget all game - we never looked like scoring.
  20. Sunderland are utter crap - one of the worst Premiership sides I've ever seen. Stead and Kyle make donkeys with limps look quick and skillful. Breen is way past his sell by date. Lawrence is however more than useful. I fear for Rovers in this game but then again I'm usually pessimistic Rovers need a new left back - or whatever they are called - as Gray is useless although he probably has more ''assists'' than any other Rover but at the wrong end. He was good but is not any more. Get rid.
  21. Just seen another interview on the MUTV indoctrination channel (we get it free in Bangkok on cable - honestly!). Unbelievable blinkered RFW - can't understand losing a game they dominated from start to finish! I worry for the old beggars sanity! To lighten it up http://www.humorsphere.com/football/manche...nited_jokes.htm
  22. Just seen Ferguson's post match interview and the one by that Dutchman whom looks like a horse Van something or other. Talk about biased - but in Fregusons case I'm putting it down to senility. How they bleat when beat.
