  1. Lots of huff and puff at Wigan, but they’ve just gone clean through and hit the bar. Should be behind.
  2. Who at the top would honestly give a shit?
  3. I agree with you here. After that, Eustace can talk Waggot into retiring, then phone Venkys and talk them into giving us the full warchest. Next he can talk Gally into playing like he’s Zlatan and Pears to become Gordon Banks. For a finale he can talk Nicko into not making shit up and talk the record books into actually showing he has won a home game. I have full faith in his, y’know , silver tongue.
  4. That he was ‘released’ by Wigan. Wigan didn’t have a choice in the matter. “He left Wigan. “ ”Wigan couldn’t afford his demands” But he wasn’t ‘released’. Just as Brereton and Lucas Neil weren’t released.
  5. Completely beside the point I’m making. Say you think he’s shit by all means. He possibly is. I’ve no idea. But don’t make stuff up to try and prove that point.
  6. I’ve no idea how good or shit Humphrys is, but that’s like saying Rothwell was released by Rovers. They wanted him to stop, he wouldn’t re-sign.
  7. They live amongst us.
  8. It says 0 to 64, so if it includes 0 it could be the full database.
  9. One of the modern myths of football.
  10. Hops and dreams - the former pub team aiming to shock Europe Posted for the Nathan Rooney - Blackburn connection.
  11. I'd go anyway. Remember the saying, "the youth team of today will be the first team of tomorrow". Or in our case September.
  12. We will sell Sammy, not bring anyone anyone in, already have a dodgy start and then get absolutely mullered at Burnley. And then the levee breaks.
  13. True, but that's negative discussion that couldn't be brought up on the 'NEW' thread if the name "Kyle McFadzean" was mentioned.
  14. As a normal club I might get what you are saying, but when we seem to be unable to sign 37 year old free agent Kyle McFadzean how can you not talk about why we can't even get that over the line. You will just end up with two threads where a large portion of the same people are discussing the same players on both threads. I think the links only thread worked, but that's not what some people want. They want to talk in some kind of La La Land thread. Why don't we also have a thread for next season where we just make results up every game and pretend we are going for the title?
  15. I thought the old links thread with no discussion used to work well. You could skim and see what the latest links were instantly. If you miss a couple of days you can catch up in seconds Once you start adding discussion you can no longer just refer to it quickly . Therefore I think the financial side should be in the discussion.
  16. Over the course of last season:- You thought we had a chance at automatic promotion. You thought we would get in the play offs. You thought we would finish top half You thought we wouldn’t get into a relegation scrap. You thought we would stay up. You did get the last one right, but you’re optimism last season was so staggeringly misplaced.
  17. So we want Danny Batth. Then we remove our director of football, change our first team coach, change our style of football and replace practically all of our recruitment team And then we want Danny Batth.
  18. Eh? Clearly I don't know what you are on about. You keep making cryptic messages whilst Rovers just go deeper and down.
  19. Eustace deep down knows there is nothing coming as he overlapped with Gregg for a few months, and GB and JDT knew the script by the end.
  20. He thinks the current structure is guaranteed £x amount per season, and that his his target. Reducing costs is a risk. It might bring in more money (and a better atmosphere). But it could also lead to reduced turnover (and a better atmosphere). Waggot doesn’t want to grow or improve the business. He just wants to hit target A and get paid. So he sticks with the status quo.
  21. You should blame the ref for allowing it 😂
  22. JRC treating it like an East Lancs Derby. The Nuremberg fans go wild. (Google translated obviously)
  23. Well yeah, it was hit and hope. Just like Steven Reid and Tony Yeboah
