I wonder if we could sign any of the players at the accussed clubs, we could just tell them that we know they were involved, some probably were and the ones we catch out we could blackmail them into playing for us. lol On a more serious note, what effect would a mass relegation and player exodus have on the Italian game? Also couldn't Juventus being relegated change the formation of the G14 as they will no longer be a member and would another team replace them? I got a feeling that what is happening in Italy can only be bad for English football as our home grown talent isn't getting the chance to come through at many top clubs and an influx of players fleeing Serie A could add to this even further. I got so many questions but very few answers.

How likely is it that some of the teams involved will be relegated? If big teams are relegated it could destroy Italian football, mass exodus of players from the top clubs for very little money. It could end up like the storyline in DT when Harchester were relegated for match fixing. So they were a Championship side playing Champions League football. Stranger things have happened in football.

It also said on Talksport that Lampard is on 106k a week so is Terry and people like Ronaldinho are on 116k at Barcelona. If Chelski were to line up with a midfield of; Ballack Lampard Makelele Essien Not in that sort of formation, i think that they will severely lack width which would have to be provided by the full-backs. Their midfield looks very top heavy to me with everything weighted towards the middle of the pitch and very little in ways of width. They will have plenty of width on the bench with players like JC, SWP, Duffer and Robben but their starting line-up will lack it. But then again i don't think that they are going to need any width if they sign Tevez and Shevchenko. If those two sign on top of Ballack i think the league is already over. Manure, L'Pool & Arsenal would not be able to compete with their squad as they simply do not have the funds or the players to be able to match Chelsea man for man.

Nothing related to scandal/back handers suprises me when it comes to Italian football, its been going on for years. Refs are unbiased but they will do pretty much anything for money like a person on the street would. Aren't Juve being run close to the wire for the Scudetto and need a result to guarentee the title? If so it really wouldn't suprise me one bit if Juve were trying to get a favourite ref to officiate. The Italians Government elections weren't even legit, what makes anyone think that their football league is different?

Has anyone got a list of the players who didn't play on Sunday for Brum, as i think we could make a good guess at who the players were from who didn't play who normally does. Chris Sutton would have probably been involved with all of his old tricks. Its a disgrace that players would refuse to play, it is unprofessional and it shows that those players were never truly committed to the club in the first place. They deserved to be named and shamed. In some small way i feel sorry for the Porn Boys fans if some of their players were never committed in the first place and just wanted the money for nothing.

I have grown accustomed to the red trim and it i am finding hard to adjust to not having the red trim. Give it a week of owning it and i'll forget all about the red trim. Theo could be the next big thing after the W.C. if he comes on and play superb football and scores a winning goal, Sven will be justified in picking him. But if he comes on, plays shocking football it will do nothing for the team and it will do nothing for the lads confidence. He's only 17, hasn't played English professional football since January versus Plymouth and has played reserve team football twice, only TWICE. For the country and the lads sake i hope he plays well as it could ruin him before his career has even begun if he plays bad.

As long as Hargreaves doesn't get on the pitch in the WC i will be happy. He has not exactly let the country down with his previous performances but it think that he isn't as good at the holding role as people think he is. I'd rather have Carrick play there should we need an holding player and i think Sven will use Carrick as the first choice anchor man.

Out of interest would the club run trips to the Uefa Cup games as i would really like to go but i would prefer not to book it on my own seperately with an outside agency. I'll have to save every penny from now until the draw like but it would be worth it.

Ericksson has even admitted that he has never seen Walcott play in the flesh. IMO that is a dsigrace, if you are going to ignore the top scoring Englishman in D.Bent from both the 23 and the stand-by list and pick somebody in the 23 who you have never seen play and hasn't played first team football since January 14th against Plymouth, Sven should have at least watched one of his two reserve matches.

After Owen failing to make Newcastle's sixteen yesterday i think we can safely say he won't make it to Germany, he may take part in one of the warm-up matches but i think its a mental problem as well as a physical one with Owen now. Like last week when he came off complaining of a dull pain but they found nothing wrong with it on the scans. It would be great to have him in the starting XI as he is a truly great player. No Rooney/No Owen-No WC Win.

David Gold sais that he is going to run the mighty big club on a Fizzy Pop League budget and to do that he will have to offload all of his big earners. I'm looking forward to seeing how they are going to offload Upson, signed a new deal with wage increase, he's out injured till October which should make selling him quite awkward. I hope he hasn't but if he has only a on pay-as-you-play deal and only that as he needs to start earning his money after in my opinion with his injuries he has ripped the big club off but that isn't a bad thing, i just do not want to see him do the same here to a club he also supports like us.
