  1. Hmmm? Nope! You`ve got me there?? Me mum likes a bit of Basement Jaxx every now & then. Does that count??
  2. Some time last season i read a revue (posted on BRFCS) from an away supporter saying "Everybodies favorite away-day....Blackburn" ....Maybe, after charging them £36 that`s not the case anymore & that`s why away crowds are down at Ewood. Even away fans have intelligence enough to see they`re getting fleeced, so stay away. Instead of following the sheep, Rovers should be paving the way, slashing their prices to all fans & making Ewood Park & Blackburn Rovers THE fan friendly club & ground. ...You never know, they might start a trend?
  3. It depends what you mean when you say 'electro' ? I like a bit of Depeche Mode, OMD, Nine Inch Nails, Flock of Seagulls.....if that`s what you class as 'electro'.
  4. Howazabout a Grooby nomination for Pabby? Cheers pal for doing the 'Youtube' bit! You`re a star!
  5. Sorry i`ve not read the last 19 pages, but did anyone take any photos of their exploits in Austria (& the away fans end) ? & do you have any 'links' to view them?
  6. I`ve got 3 albums by Kate Rusby. Fantastic English folk singer & a tad Milfy
  7. Hmmm....yeah, I`ve given the new Kasabian album a few listens, & i`ve got to say it`s not jumping onto my cd player anymore. I`ll give it another listen in a week or so, just to see if it`s a 'grower'.
  8. Ahhh, those were the days.....when footballers actually knew the towns they played for! .....not just junction 4 M65.
  9. Didn`t go that day, but remember all my friends sitting around the play area (i was 11) listening to a small transistor radio. Didn`t Preston have an area for Rovers fans at Deepdale on that day? If so, i remember hearing stories of both sets of fans (Nob-enders & Swansea) both goading the attending Rovers fans.
  10. What? Jordan on this messageboard?? Didn`t think he was like that.......
  11. It`s never stopped them doing the other tunes they`re cr@p at!!
  12. Yeah!! I reckon our Frodo Pederson would bite his nose off! Good Lad!!
  13. A guy i worked with was a former member of the ICF & got into quite a bit of bother in the past. His mobile phone has a West ham badge on the screensaver with "these colours don`t run" underneath it. I told me it used to be printed on the ICF calling cards they pinned to their victims during the 80s. That`s why i thought there may be a link. Steve harris is said to be a very good footballer who could`ve been a top pro, but concentrated on his music instead. Iron Maiden have their own football team who play other teams when on tour.
  14. That wouldn`t be a Steve Harris/West Ham link would it? BIG West Ham fans Iron Maiden. A good friend of mine fitted a top-notch satellite tv system in Steve Harris` mansion many many moons ago....waaaay before satellite got popular. He was helping his cousin, who owned the business which did this sort of work for all the 'stars' & 'celebs' down sarf. He said the house was impressive to say the least.
  15. That`s just 'lawyer talk'. Ofcourse they knew where they were, they came to cause trouble. Any solicitor would tell a judge that their 'client' got involved in a situation totally out of their control. ...after all ,they`re professional liars.
  16. He do well for Palace. If he helps get you promoted, then it`ll be 2.5m well spent. I wish the big guy all the best!
  17. --> QUOTE(Ste B @ Sep 6 2006, 13:18 ) 442600[/snapback] Or use Ant and Dec's classic ON THE BALL It's Nelsen to Lucas, Lucas to Emo Emo to Savage, Savage To Reid Reidy to Morten, Morten to Benny Benny to Nonda to nod He's NONDA goal He's NONDA goal He's NONDA goal He's NONDA goal He's NONDA goal He's NONDA goal He's NONDA goal [gets coat] hmmmm Howzabout... "Lalalalalala Nonda!".......to the tune of La Bamba?
  18. If it`s on a free, & it`s 'just for cover' then i see it as a good bit of business.
  19. If it`s true, then Gray deserved the punch. I bet he feels a right prat now, after being sprawled all across the media (as well as the floor)
  20. When Uncle Jack took over at Ewood, Wolves had their 'sugar daddy' as did Derby & Newcastle. Only one of these clubs has actually won anything, thankfully it was our club ....Now it seems to be be the turn of some other clubs...Villa, Pompey, West Ham, Chelsea. No matter how many millionaires throw money at a football club....only one can win. I seriously doubt a 'small' unfashionable club like BRFC could get so lucky twice. It`ll all end in tears.
  21. It is a mixture of a lot of things that`s killing the game as we know it, different things for different people. Personally, i used to love standing on the Blackburn End with my mates, having a bounce around, being a bit daft at times & having the banter. It was all great fun & only cost a few quid (no great hole in the pocket) Nowadays, i find the price is way too high (this is my personal view) We are forced to sit in sterile stadiums with 'pumped in' atnosphere. The music can be so loud that banter between the two sets of fans is quite rare. Friends/mates are often sat far apart. What do i want? I`d love a return to a terraced area (even a small one), where i can stand with my mates, have a bounce, have a laugh, have some banter & make it a more affordable price (iro £20) I know this aint going to happen, & every time it`s suggested, it gets shouted down from most people on here. So what am i going to do? Put-up & shut -up? or vote with my feet & my hard earned cash?
  22. Good luck to the guy! He never set the premiership on fire, but he scored some vital goals for the Rovers. & i think i`m not alone in saying i`d rather have a 'tryer' (sp?) in the famous blue & white than an overpaid prima donna along the lines of Dwight Yorke who didn`t look like they were fighting for the cause. Good luck Shefki, hope you tear the championship apart, especially the inbreds at either end of the M65!
