  1. Can all people with the initials JA keep the @#/? away from our club.
  2. So long as he doesn't pull a Danny Murphy on us it's a shrewd signing. I urged caution the other day fearing a bumper 4 year deal but I think 2 is fair enough; we wouldn't have stood a chance if we were offering just the year. In theory (Rovers' fans old favourite) he should be head and shoulders above anything in this league - technically at least. Keep the positives coming please Rovers.
  3. Great read again DE; thanks for taking the time with these. Mentioned it back at the time, but some mates used to bump into him around Weybridge where he'd regularly be piling back the beers. He plays up to being one of the lads big time and was renowned for consistently speaking BS. No shock given his Big Sam video, but he's a grade A Tw@t as well as being a dog awful manager - no two ways about it.
  4. According to Rich Sharpe, TM will be flying to India to meet with the owners. You can imagine how it'll go now, 'Tony who'?
  5. First time I've said this but hope he stays. He's a good bloke and my God we need them at the plenty. Feel for him - he couldn't have done much more.
  6. As always Tony speaks a lot of sense. Cannot wait for their downfall.
  7. Let's just all become anti-Huddersfield fans in the play-offs. Their spanner manager with the specs will come a cropper, I am sure of it. See how much worth resting their players is then.
  8. A little meat on the bones to Tony's negativite approach: https://audioboom.com/posts/5861856-rovers-head-coach-tony-mowbray-ahead-of-crucial-final-home-game-against-avfcoffici Someone may need to remind him that 3 points is kinda important tomorrow.
  9. Huddersfield have persistently let us down over the past couple of months so why should it change now. We should have taken care of our own business regardless and have only ourselves to blame. Expect us to be down by 4.50pm on Saturday.
  10. Who is starting the Villa thread? Mercer wants to get his 4-1 romping home win prediction in.
  11. Emnes has been bothered once all season - at home to Utd. There's a reason nobody can get a tune out of him.
  12. If we won both our final games I honestly think QPR would go as I can't see them getting another point. They're woeful. Can we get two wins on the trot? Not a chance. We need to forget about Forest; they'll be safe.
  13. Bugger, just seen that they play on Tuesday. Couple of days extra rest for Big Club.
  14. Big Ton will set us up for the draw, that's a guarantee.
  15. Not just the Huddersfield game but Bristol City on the final day too. We could really have done with them needing something themseves but they'll be long safe by then.
  16. Far too negative, especially at home.
  17. If Big Club win tomorrow than you have to think it's goodnight. Sickening.
  18. Kodjia of Villa has had his 3 game suspension reduced to 1, meaning he'll not be available to take on Big Club, but can face us the following game. Very frustrating and unfortunate, especially when we're already up against it big time. The footballing Gods need to do us a turn soon, surely. He scored two against us in the reverse fixture, for anyone wondering what kind of impact he may have.
  19. I believe the stat is first half as opposed to full match.
  20. Thanks for the updates PB/LR. Great to hear so many positive things about the youngsters, particularly the influence of Johnson and Dunn. Also very heartening to hear that tactically they're consistently spot on too. I've said before but I'd be more than happy to see Johnson having a crack next season in League One if Mowbray walks/is potted. Nobody is going to be a success under the V's, but at least in Johnson we have a man who is working wonders with the young lads; of which will be the lifeblood of the club next season.
  21. Read that too; beyond pitiful. Also said we haven't been in the lead at HT at Ewood since the Brentford match in November. Statistics which illustrate precisely why we've been planted in the bottom 3 for so long.
  22. I don't know about everyone else but I'm looking forward to having a break from football this summer. It's been nothing but relentless pain and heartache for 7 seasons now and it's taken its toll on me. We all know that unless they bugger off then it's going to get worse come August, whatever division we're in.
  23. He'll get 'em fired up for one win, for sure. Us or Forest I'm afraid and I know whose fixtures I'd prefer.
  24. This is a big result tonight - genuinely thought they'd win. Confidence will take a hit from here.
  25. Varney OG. Is the tide of Rovers luck finally turning?!
