  4. report from bolton official site SAM ALLARDYCE admitted Wanderers' victory was a 'very satisfying result' after Rovers had beaten his side at the Reebok Stadium earlier in the season. After watching El-Hadji Diouf grab the only goal of the game to make it three league wins on the trot, the Wanderers boss said: "It was a very, very satisfying result from our point of view. It was December the 28th when we got beat at the Reebok Stadium. It meant that we had lost three local derbies on the trot - Manchester City, Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers. It was a pretty torrid time at the end of that game for us, as a group. "Of course, we've worked very, very hard to turn it around since the West Brom comeback. From there it's began to flow and today was about keeping a clean-sheet, which we've managed to do for two games on the trot. "Now we have seemed to grasp that if we want to get where we want to go then clean sheets are the answer. Manchester United have turned their season around by it, Chelsea are winning the title with it and Arsenal are dropping down the league by it after conceding too many." funny how the editors forgot about diouf and nolan
  5. The ref was about 15-20 yrds back when Brad came out to close Diouf down and had 2/3 rovers players obstructing his view from where i was sat it looked like he was in great position to me, but maybe youre right. i'll wait til i see the re-runs tomorrow
  6. the ref was close for the pen, but he got it wrong
  7. its bad enough when the likes of henry/pires et al exagerrate contact in the box to try and win pens, but the way diouf invented the contact was something else altogether. cheating dickh ead
  8. im kind of losing faith in the whole "what goes around comes around" thing when it comes to our friend el hadji. i im going to be power mad and say that probably wasnt a nice thing to say and was against posting rules - it is only a game believe it or not - Flopsy n o j u s t i c e.
  9. okay, we were poor tonite and didnt deserve to win, but brad never had a save to make except for the pen. diouf is a fuhking disgrace and so is allardyce. the way he celebrated the goal and congratulated diouf and refused to condemn him, even after seeing the replay makes me sick. what a fat piece of waste

  12. you can sign me up too
  13. i think were all socked
  14. i agree with all of that. and he can keep his hands off jon stead, although we know first hand how he like to sign players from previous clubs....
  15. eriksson would never come to rovers, and even if he would would anybody seriously welcome him? the man is a fool. i think robson is too old as well, and he would probably bring titus bramble with him
  16. should be interesting to see what reception he gets from the fans if he is in charge. has anyone ever managed against their former club so soon after leaving?
  17. please dont let wilkinson anywhere near this club. i think robson would be a bad move as well
  18. how about king kenny? or shearer as player manager
  19. i think i am going to cry
  20. i realise that this has been said 3582949 times, but im going to say it again anyway WHERE IS MATT JANSEN?? i know i havent seen him play in person and people have said he was useless in the reserve game the other day, but if he is not even worth a place on the bench then why are we keeping hold of him?? im sure some team would take him on loan. the accident was a long time ago. surely we have some idea of whether he's ever going to be a decent player again by now. matteo in left midfield?!
  21. 3-1 rovers. short (3) PLAY MATT JANSEN!
  22. if yorke is going to be picked ahead of jansen then i too will be mightily annoyed. whats the point in keeping jansen if he isnt going to get another chance?
  23. is it weird that i really want him to sign when ive never seen him play? hope im not clutching at straws.........
  24. england are stilll sure to go through. eriksson is a tosser, as is beckham. what were those substitutions about? answers on a postcard. at least croatia and switzerland are terrible david james..................are u sure?
