  1. Honestly believe our problem with this passing from the back is Kaminski Some of his passes are weighted awfully and not quick enough
  2. The ref has had a shocker Thats all that needs to be said. What Buckley did was petulant but if that’s a red card the game is over. We may as well pack it in now A red card is issued for cases gross misconduct. The ref has ruined the game
  3. Give over Happens on almost every football pitch
  4. It’s been a good half A genuinely good performance as opposed to just winning, like Norwich Dack has finally got involved in a game and is looking a tidy player again. Think Buckley has been good again too. He needs to worm out those inconsistent games he has - excellent vs Norwich, excellent so far v Boro but genuinely awful against Sunderland. Story of his rovers career so far JRC is playing well, as is Pickering Still think A Wharton is better than Tyler Morton. If this is about added value then the project must be centred around him. If Morton can play in the Champions League then so can Wharton! I’d like to see that change in the 2nd half but other than that we are looking good Gallagher isn’t at his best though. On his heels and a two bad finishes. Let’s hope he gets back to the form he shown before the World Cup because he’s been off the boil since. But still head and shoulders above Hirst
  5. I don’t think we need xG to be telling us what we already know - our performances have been awful for weeks now We need to get better all over the pitch. It’s been awful. Dacks return to the starting 11 has been a disappointment
  6. Yes but they may not be able to send him back in fairness to them Some things work out, some dont. At least this was a loan with a view to buy - sensible decision, but not the right player The test for me is if they pay the money at the end of the season. I really, really don’t think they will I don’t think JDT rates him that much frankly
  7. What makes you say that Darren? they haven’t had chance to admit anything yet. You can’t expect JDT or Broughton to come out in the press and say they don’t think Hirst can make it, not least while he is at the club It may be that part of the loan agreement will be we can’t send him back So the time when they can admit the mistake would be at the end of the season when it comes to buying him. If they exercise the £5m option then it will be then doubling down; if they don’t sign him then they’d have agreed with us he isn’t good enough
  8. Gallagher finishes more 1 on 1 that he misses Problem is he doesn’t get in them positions often enough He’s improved big time this year. The stats don’t lie - when he starts, we win Gallagher betters Hirst in every single department. He’s up there as one of the better strikers in the league this season for sure
  9. The 12:30 kick off time for this is seriously annoying isn’t it I am usually dying a thousand deaths after drinking far too big a mix of spirits to be on my best form by 12:30
  10. He used to post on here. Was a decent poster then too
  11. Woahhhh, just pulling the agent card here. At 29 I’ve got plenty of playing days ahead of me 😉 All jokes aside it is a tad insulting to be talking about him like that but like you I struggle to see what Hirst offers. I have genuinely seen better movement and forward play at much lower levels of football than he is at That £5m seems like £500m comparatively. It absolutely cannot be spent - unless he has a storming end of season but I can’t see it myself.
  12. If we can't send Hirst back to Leicester do you think we could take over his loan for my Sunday morning team? Our current striker - 14 goals in 6 league games now - has decided he's better off travelling Thailand for 4 weeks in January. Selfish prick. As a result, our extremely good but not-so-committed substitute striker, has been forced to sign a 4 week compulsory attendance contract and so we will need a substitute striker to replace him We have options, but Hirst might just do a job in the last 10 or 15 That's about all I have for him
  13. He was ran a lot today in fairness Bloody hell, I remember some games I had at 18-25 where my legs weren’t working at the end of it! I wouldn’t read too much into it. Can happen to the best of players. 17 is young to be running after seniors constantly
  14. We just not bothering to go for this game?
  15. It was a good tackle!! Fell unfortunately but a well timed tackle
  16. The Wharton’s combining to make up for their sins
  17. Markanday is having a good game today. He isn’t always like this but he’s the only one coming out with some credit so far
  18. I agree. It is most unlike Wharton especially Garrett is more a win the ball back, pass it on player but Wharton usually delivers it forward. Been such a passive shite performance
  19. What is Mola playing at? Jesus Give me Edun please This is a poor side today. A Wharton well off the boil
  20. But putting Garrett in the same category as Hirst and Pears is wholly unfair, that was the original intention of my post. He's had one bad game out of 5, and the other 4 have an included a MOM performance and scoring the winning penalty against a Prem team - the other two haven't had a good game at all. Chalk and cheese Personally I don't think Garrett would swing it much in Forest's favour either. He showed against West Ham he can manage And I hope he gets more than an occasional cameo too! I honestly think Markanday weakens the team more than Garrett would. But I'm yet to see enough. I'd say you are writing off Garrett to a League 1 loan too quickly though if you still think Markanday has a role to play in this team! Jake is the better squad player for sure. Markanday seems a bit of a highlight reel to me
  21. Not the best side that is it JRC looked okay at the weekend but he had Hyam and Ayala to fall back on. Phillips might not be ready to give him the support he needs at full back The midfield isn’t bad. I wouldn’t be too fussed if we started with that But the front three is bad. I had huge hopes for Markanday but he’s got a lot to prove. Doesn’t seem good enough at all. Hirst can go for me - wasn’t impressed to begin with and not impressed now. But!!! we must learn from Brereton…… I really don’t want to make the same mistake of writing players off so early but I don’t have much faith for them two If we start with that squad it’ll be an uphill battle to win
