  1. Interesting to see Speith hit some form; he's normally there or thereabouts in the Masters. That said, I can't see beyond DJ again.
  2. I'm looking forward to the two games tonight featuring City and Liverpool, if only to take my mind off the Rovers situation!
  3. 100% mate. There's a chasm between 'been instructed to act' and 'sacking Mowbray' and as they say, its the hope that kills you!
  4. Aye, I think Merce is suffering from the 'boy who cried wolf' syndrome :)
  5. I certainly don't claim to be 'ITK' at all but shortly after the final whistle yesterday I received a text from someone extremely close to the club - not the playing or coaching side - who doesn't normally gossip (he can't afford to, it would cost him his job) who, unsolicited, told me that Waggott had been instructed to act. All this talk of being sacked today and announced at 3pm didn't come from me, I didn't hear any specifics at all. However, I am very confident that something is happening in relation to the manager, but people posting "Its not happening is it?" every 5 minutes on here doesn't help alleviate the general twitchiness that fans are feeling just now. Was it wrong of me to share that info? Maybe. But that's partly what I thought these message boards were designed for.
  6. I haven't read them for ages but there was one person who seemed to sycophantically respond to his own comments under a different name (maybe Beetlejuice was one of his personas). And then there was the 'John Claret' inbred.....
  7. I don't know whether it has actually happened but I was told yesterday that it is imminent. I guess today will be instructive for all of us.
  8. To be fair Tony that is the way it should happen - Board instructs CEO to sack manager. I don't think any of them have any balls to be honest. Brass necks, aye, but no guts.
  9. No worries mate. Sorry about yer dad. We’ve all posted clumsy things but it takes a big person to apologise.
  10. Nothing to do with dictating websites pal but as someone who spent 12 years nursing someone through Alzheimer’s it was definitely in poor taste.
  11. With respect this talk of Alzheimer’s and dementia is in poor taste mate. And a shrink wouldn’t be able to sort it out even if it were true.
  12. Written on the spot and recorded and released within a week. Amazing at the time. A plug for a family member now..... Tracie - Give It Some Emotion
  13. I met Howie at a function a few years back. He is a fabulous guy and really loved his time at Ewood.
  14. He scored 56 out of 67 over his club career. Pretty good but not in the Le Tissier class.
  15. Yeah no blame attached to Howie for that - he had a great game that night and what I would give for a player with his passion in the team now!
  16. Think it might have been more than that but yeah. The Yak was pretty solid an’ all.... ...until that Liverpool game
