  1. Mott the Hoople - One of the Boys
  2. Was it just me that was baffled by Croft bowling that last over at numbers 9 and 10? Surely we had something left that they wouldn't have fancied facing? And then there was the lacklustre way he bowled the next two balls after the first 6. I was livid after that. PS - England aren't half gonna miss Jimmy when he's retired.......
  3. Millwall is a place we have rarely struggled at in fairness, going back donkeys years. Granted its a long time ago now but who will ever forget smacking 4 past them as they were crowned second division champions at Cold Blow Lane (the Old Den) and sneaking into the play offs?
  4. The Smokin' Mojo Filters - Come Together
  5. Otis Redding - These Arms Of Mine
  6. Black Box - Ride On Time
  7. Helen Shapiro - Walking Back to Happiness
  8. Yeah I think he did for a while Tony. I may be getting my wires crossed here but I seem to remember Dave (his dad) playing in the same team as Paul Gallagher’s dad.
  9. The Beat - Best Friend
  10. Pretty sure I used to play football against his dad, Dave. I think he played for Shadsworth or someone like that?
  11. Diana Ross - I'm Still Waiting
  12. The Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?
  13. Prefab Sprout - Cars and Girls
  14. Thank God someone mentioned TG. He was an absolute rock for us for many years.
  15. I think Arma will score in the region of 12-15 goals a season in the premier league. He is a greedy little so-and-so but most goalscoring strikers are.
  16. The Boomtown Rats - Modern Girl
  17. The Carpenters - Top of the World
  18. Paul Weller - Foot of the Mountain
  19. I would have been happy to pay to watch a live stream (as I did for every game last season) but in the absence of that a DM with details of said site would be most appreciated mate 😉
  20. We didn’t know what that would bring though at the time. Most people were optimistic as I recall.
  21. Not even close mate. We had it in our own hands in 89 and royally fucked it up.
  22. Thankfully we’ve had the total opposite of a ‘shit one’ as well. As others have posted that day was (for many of us) the worst day of our Rovers-supporting lives. As for Armstrong - he’s no Ian Wright.
  23. I don’t know how old you are pal but some of us still carry the scars of 1989. Edit and 1861 is worth a “fuck off” all on its own….
  24. It’s all just lazily being put down to Covid.
