  1. I don't know about them chaddy but Neil was definitely approached.
  2. Simon Fowler - Courting Blues
  3. I'm not usually a fan of posthumous releases of 'new' or 'undiscovered' material, as there's usually a reason why it didn't see the light of day while the artist was still alive, and that is because they didn't deem it good enough. However, Gerry Rafferty's daughter has just put together some of the things he was working on in the years before his death, enlisting the help of many who played on the sessions to finish the songs off. Its a mixture of his own compositions and a couple of folk classics, with the album ending with Gerry's re-recording of Stuck In The Middle With You. The album is called Rest In Blue Its worth buying just for his rendition of Wild Mountain Thyme, which apparently reduced Billy Connolly to tears when he heard it.
  4. The Style Council - Mick's Company
  5. 29 is definitely at the upper end of the age bracket for a boy band/girl band just starting out. For a bit of context John Lennon was 29 when the Beatles recorded their last album and Paul Weller was 24 when he split The Jam.
  6. The Zombies - She's Not There

  17. Not really the point you are making but Paddy would be the first to admit that he wouldn't have made it as a pro in this day and age. But to answer your question, Buckley isn't in the same league as Paddy.
