  1. Yeah I think he did for a while Tony. I may be getting my wires crossed here but I seem to remember Dave (his dad) playing in the same team as Paul Gallagher’s dad.
  2. The Beat - Best Friend
  3. Pretty sure I used to play football against his dad, Dave. I think he played for Shadsworth or someone like that?
  4. Diana Ross - I'm Still Waiting
  5. The Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?
  6. Prefab Sprout - Cars and Girls
  7. Thank God someone mentioned TG. He was an absolute rock for us for many years.
  8. I think Arma will score in the region of 12-15 goals a season in the premier league. He is a greedy little so-and-so but most goalscoring strikers are.
  9. The Boomtown Rats - Modern Girl
  10. The Carpenters - Top of the World
  11. Paul Weller - Foot of the Mountain
  12. I would have been happy to pay to watch a live stream (as I did for every game last season) but in the absence of that a DM with details of said site would be most appreciated mate 😉
  13. We didn’t know what that would bring though at the time. Most people were optimistic as I recall.
  14. Not even close mate. We had it in our own hands in 89 and royally fucked it up.
  15. Thankfully we’ve had the total opposite of a ‘shit one’ as well. As others have posted that day was (for many of us) the worst day of our Rovers-supporting lives. As for Armstrong - he’s no Ian Wright.
  16. I don’t know how old you are pal but some of us still carry the scars of 1989. Edit and 1861 is worth a “fuck off” all on its own….
  17. It’s all just lazily being put down to Covid.
  18. With all due respect you can stick your Glad All Over up yer jacksie.
  19. A bit harsh mate I think. I assume it’s because we are playing one of his former clubs (arguably the one he had the most success with?).
  20. Is that Stuart Broad, the cricketer, modelling the one on the left? If so, how bizarre.
  21. Steve Pilgrim, long standing member of the Paul Weller band, plays a gig at the Electric Church Club in Blackburn tonight. Well worth going along if you can make it, he’s a brilliant singer/songwriter in his own right.
  22. It’s a shame I suppose but not really surprising. Times have changed and I can’t remember the last time I bought a programme at a game.
  23. Brilliant drop the mic ending there Tony, almost spilt my brew 😂😂😂
  24. The Rovers Trust sent a letter along these lines to ‘Venkys’ not too long ago. I am assuming that Balaji’s letter is a response (of sorts) to that. But yes, we could address these concerns directly to him as a riposte to his letter. By the way Dreams your previous post to this one was absolutely bang on the money in respect of appointing a properly functioning board of directors and senior management team at Ewood.
