I think it will prove to be a good thing. From a supporter point of view I would like to have seen a couple of things in the White Paper strengthened a bit (e.g. the 'shadow board' is an expectation as opposed to a requirement and the 'golden share' likewise). The Rovers Trust is well on top of this, as mentioned in the Trust thread. We have had a lot of dialogue with the major players behind the scenes and many of the Trust's proposals have actually ended up in the White Paper. We will continue to lobby for improvements, as there is still time to influence the White Paper contents as it moves through the Parliamentary process. I went to bed at 21 for 3 and even given our current excellent form was very surprised to see the close of play score. I had a few friends at the game yesterday (on both sides) and they said it was obvious what had happened and also what was going to happen, with the way the teams lined up at the kick off. The two managers apparently actually shook hands before Rangers allowed The Jags to score the equaliser, so Beale had told Iain McCall the plan. Common sense really but yeah, its an easy thing to do in a situation like that where Rangers were odds-on to go on and win the game anyway.
