The first 25 min were poor all around. Sloppy touches on both sides. Lenihan really should have been sent off. Dolan looked lively when on the ball but generally didn’t produce much. The goal was a bit out of no where, blocked pass, found it’s way to Naymbe who’s cross deflected off two Luton players to land at Dolans feet. The second was a good bit of passing to get Pickering in position for a good finish. We were solid enough in back with the exception of Pickering getting beat for pace a few times. Midfield struggled to get a kick and forwards mostly chasing. Kaminski nothing to do.

Happy we’re 2 up. Tidy finish from Dolan, all it too was 2 deflections for us to find him, and good work for Pickering goal. All in all one of the worst half’s of football I’ve seen in a while. For most of the half both sides have been chasing bad touches and lumping balls forward.

While it would have been nice to sign a permanent striker, we have 12 million invested in center forwards. It’s the one place in our squad where money has actually been spent. The fact that we’re even talking about that part of the pitch shows the failure of the recruitment team.

Getting Naymbe and JRC back after the break is a must. Maglore and Carter don’t have the pace or quickness out there. has to be better, but if you play poor and get a point when you could have lost by 3 or 4…I’ll take it

Diaz…very poor half for him

We’ll consider ourselves lucky to be level at half. Jones is running circles around Carter. Travis the only defensive player in the middle. Diaz might not be on the pitch. The kids on loan are finding it difficult to get involved as we’ve been chasing the game and our poor touches. Would like to see someone more defensive on in the middle as Travis is being asked too much. Funny how much better Gally is centrally. His touch has been heavy at times but much better there than out wide. Also his size gives us an outlet Dolan doesn’t provide.
