There was an instance in the first half when he had the run on the covering centre half, both sprinting to a through ball. He saw the centre half coming and shit the bed, let him have it. His one asset is his speed, which he rendered useless by being soft as shite

I get what you’re saying but we’ve all watched plenty of football and have eyes. Whilst we will all differ slightly on our views of players individual merits at a granular level it’s fairly obvious who is a good’un and who is a bad’un. How many of the new lads pass the eye test, honestly. I’d say Alebiousu alone of the ones who’ve played a few games and I’d stick my neck out on a 15 min cameo and say Morishito will be good, he looks like a quicker Ohashi. The rest are toilet, Ribeiro included, he’s Pickering without the ability to pass.

There’s a reason these lads we’ve signed have all been kicking around European lower leagues, unfortunately half our fans are too blind to see the reality.

To be fair to the referee I reckon 99% of the crowd thought it was a pen, certainly looked in the box in N05. Regardless, we got done by a big straight ball over the top and should have been 2 possibly more down prior to that. Whether it was a pen isn’t really the issue, it’s the fact that we were truly woeful first half. Tavares didn’t get near their midfield, McClean played the first half in his pyjamas

I don’t think the ref is the reason we lost, could have easily been 2 down before the penalty and it was a stonewell pen and red.

Our total lack of structure and inability to press or screen played a massive role in them looking like this in that game. It was VI’s first game and the first 45 minutes was embarrassing, we basically let Duffy walk the ball through the middle of the pitch half the time

I'm sure there are plenty of clubs who would consider themselves to have bad owners, until you know the ins and outs of all clubs it's difficult to pinpoint many outside the obvious. I'd wager than not many day to day football think we have particularly bad owners, we don't make headlines we bumble along apart from the recent managerial debacle but even that causes not much more than a ripple on Talksport for an afternoon.

Checked it out, xG is based on xG measures the quality of a shot based on: Distance from goal Angle of the shot Type of assist (through ball, cross, etc.) Body part used (foot, head, etc.) Defensive pressure Shot type (open play, set piece, etc.) The person taking the shot has no influence on xG, I suppose this is where the comparison of xG vs actual goals to judge a players worth is useful.

"Trust us", and subsequently bin bagged an experienced (although difficult to like) manager for a man who has no mens game/pro managerial experience (admittedly holds an A license) and is the same religion as the new owners. Now I have no problem what religion, ethnicity, etc a manager is however to clear an experienced one out who has stood by that club through it's darkest hours to replace with one who wouldn't appear on paper to have been in the running anywhere else doesn't seem a great foot to get off on.
