  1. I would expect Derby to line up with the following; Carson Bogle Keogh Tomori Forsyth Johnson Huddlestone Mount Fozefoon Bennett Waghorn Lawrence is suspended after being sent off last week, probably their best player. Looking at that, Fozefoon is a good player, Waghorn can be a handful but nothing better than Graham, their team isn't that great, Johnson and Huddlestone both past their best. Wilson, Marriott, Nugent and Ollson decent for them, who've been on the bench a lot. But I would fancy Dack and Graham getting in their side, as well as Mulgrew and our full backs and other who if they perform to expectation like Brereton and Rothwell, Palmer possibly also seen as they wanted him again. So all in all, we shouldn't be going into this thinking Derby are a far better side, however like Bristol if we defend stupidly we could concede a few.
  2. Yea I am proper fan as, Barry says. Loyal, if loyal is sticking with the team through the last 8 years of utter garbage bar last season, supporting rovers despite family supporting other clubs, and not supporting any other team at all, then yes I am loyal. If it means having to attend every game then no i am not loyal, loyalty usually requires a relationship and I don't feel I've had one with the club since venkys took over to be fair, mate. The the little things the club do such as closing the darwen end for home fans etc for me, means they don't respect that relationship with some of their fans.
  3. The penalty incident was immediately after our wrongly disallowed goal so shouldn't even have been an incident so let's not count that, and the tammy chance, so what, not good enough to score it so therefore doesn't mean they deserve a goal from it, mate. If we were going off chances missed then we could say we should have been 4-1 up at Bristol.
  4. It Ken Anderson, I think, their owner, or a family member of his, as the picture profile is a shirt with Anderson on and he/she retweets everything bolton tweet.
  5. Forgot about Shaw, yes I would agree, Shaw in for Trippier.
  6. Trouble still at bolton it would seem, Karl Henry going public on it;
  7. Pickford Stones Maguire Gomez Walker Henderson Trippier Loftus-Cheek Lingard Alli Kane I don't think Trippier or Walker need to miss out, just play them both as wing backs, Trippier played LWB for Spurs many of times. Would have played Lallana but he's injured.
  8. Only problem with that is it results in dropped points.
  9. That's the problem with footballers, yes they are adults, yes they should be responsible for themselves, however they live so far outside of the 'real world' they are in essence like children. I was watching a programme the other week with Matthew Upson and Liam Rosenior, who both speak very well, and they went into detail in respect of how footballers are looked after, i.e. their bills are sorted, their appointments are sorted, their washing and ironing is sorted (all in house) they are treat like children, so subconsciously they still act like children and that is the reason so many of them go off the rails when they retire etc. This probably has something to do with why Dack hasn't complied, if the club knew he would have completed his hours undoubtedly, but because he's in such a routine of being told what to do etc, he doesn't know what to do when he has to think for himself. I am sure the club yesterday, sorted the solicitors, told him what and what not to say, got mowbray to attend etc etc
  10. Has future appearances for other things coming up, so I doubt he's learning.
  11. A lot of the time we are far too one dimensional. We don't have a single out and out winger at the club, that's pretty poor, nobody can argue it isn't. Bennett isn't a winger, I'm sorry but he isn't. Therefore if that's the case you need your full backs bombing up the flanks, but they aren't doing so, bell is the most capable, but whether he's being told not to or not, I'm unsure, but his forward play at fleetwood tells me he's good at it and likes it, therefore he's being told not to. Nyambe for all his plaudits, isn't all that great at going forward, he will run with his head down for 20 yards or so and then turnaround. Therefore because of this, we put the majority of play through the man who plays behind graham, or long balls to graham himself, especially away from home. Only way around that is playing 3 cbs and two really forward playing wing backs, but we don't have 3 centre backs good enough to play thay system at this level. Lenihan and mulgrew aren't top half championship centre halves, simple as. After them there are no other proper centre halves bar a downing. The sqaud isnt strong enough to challenge the top teams. We need another couple of windows and need to hope Tony doesn't stick to his favourites and knows when to drop some when they aren't all that good.
  12. The coverage was dire you're right. It was good for our home game against Reading though. It did annoy me yesterday, as it said there would be replays etc, but there wasn't, it was basically what you watch on ifollow. Personally I like the fact there is more EFL games on now, I can't be doing with La Liga it's so boring, EFL games are quite often end to end, you can't beat it. Also the more EFL games sky do, the more money it brings into the EFL.
  13. Agree on both points mate. Why smallwood is starting I don't know, but to put him on set pieces is bewildering.
  14. He was pictured at a party, its a nothing story pal. Agree with what you say about tale of two halves, happens nearly every week. One thing that really concerned me today is smallwood was put on free kicks and corners, one question, WHY?
  15. There's been lots of halves like that under mowbray, however oppositions haven't been good enough to exploit it, once you play top half championship teams they'll bag 3 or 4 every game if you defend like that
  16. Did you not see them last season, they played man city of the park in a semi final, had a good league campaign until last 10 games or so. Their a good side. Our back four is basically the back four that got relegated, once williams inevitably comes back in. That's the problem, additions should have been made at the back. However we also need attacking options. Next summer hopefully we concentrate on the defence.
  17. We aren't good enough to compete with these sides this season or probably next. 12th to 15th will be a respectable finish for us.
  18. Game over, defending atrocious again. The easy start will now start to show, playing proper teams now. Commentator said mowbray trying to give nuttall enough time to make an impact, i presume he's never seen him play then.
  19. If we win we are 4th if we win by 3 we are 3rd. Draw and we are 9th. Lose and we could drop to 12th.
  20. There are no sales on the day, so the 1050 or so who have bought tickets will still go no doubt.
  21. good signings for them, they need some experience there and both are good players at this level
  22. Your wallet will be nervous soon after that engagement, Mike. Congrats.
  23. I would assume that's exactly the case, because if he was released tomorrow he wouldn't be able to sign for anyone until January, if players are released within the transfer window then they can join other clubs as a free agent.
