  1. Injuries piling up Reed asking manager to take him off, probs asked him to stay on until half time.
  2. So you think an inflation of around 7.5% per year is reasonable? Good job you arent in government then
  3. I see our away game at Millwall has been selected for a live sky game, tea time kick off on a saturday, won't be taking many down there now.
  4. I do like my stats/figures, Matthew, so here goes, in those 2 games we sold around 120% extra once on open sale, therefore if that happens again, that's 3740 sold, with it being a derby on a saturday, down the road, not on telly, you can expect those fans, who maybe just do 1 or 2 away games a season going to this also, maybe another 1000 or so, so I reckon 4500 as a minimum will be sold.
  5. Sounds a good idea the 'flexiticket' - so essentially you get a ticket and it has say 5 or 8 game credits on it, and you pick which games you go to? Sounds reasonable to me, even if they charged slightly more, as no doubt some may pick the more exciting and more expensive cat A games, I think a lot would still go for that. So instead of £22 a game average, charge £24 quid a game average which is inbetween the Cat A and B game price, so £120 for 5 games. Or if going in Riverside £20 a game average so £100 for 5 games. Might not sound appetising to many, but it might to a few who otherwise wouldn't bother.
  6. True about nobody running away with it at the moment. The league is going as it always does in other aspects, 25 points (which is what we are on) usually has you around 8th or 9th, as we are, the play off places teams are usually on around 26-30 points, which they are, team 3rd from bottom usually has around 14-15 points, which Reading do. The seasons were teams have ran away with it (i.e. Newcastle and Wolves in recent seasons) they have been on around 35-37 points, and the team in 3rd on around 30 points. The team in third this season is on 30 points but so are the top 2, that's the difference this season, meaning any team in the top half is still in with a good chance of play offs and any team in the top 6-8 are still in with a chance of top 2.
  7. Yes that was a penny, more so than the brereton penny.
  8. I thought we should have had a penny in first half with the challenge on bell.
  9. Mulgrew injured again, thought he would be like this, this season, he's not good enough at this level becuase in terms of consistency, he cant cope with the tempo and ends up constantly injured, dont see him scoring any free kicks either this season because the keepers aren't shit. We shoud have brought in a proper centre half. He's a great leader and a good player, but doesn't play enough games when at this level it seems, shame really.
  10. There was 4000 at Doncaster mate.
  11. and we have a cathedral, what more do we need to do lol
  12. Just brought in to ensure we didn't have to play during international breaks during last season, seems that way anyway.
  13. Swansea game it was - and this followed, were he stated that he did not refuse to play, despite kean making out that was the case https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/17758470
  14. Yes, Dack also injured now, holding his hammy
  15. Reed a lot better in central midfield, which is where he should always be playing.
  16. Ref is a disgrace, how did he not give Rovers a penalty there?
  17. Well done again, Tony, for signing no centre back in the summer, when we clearly needed one, but signing a 7million pound striker who you don't play, bravo.
  18. He was signed to appease the fans, after a shite transfer window, simple as. The club knew we needed a centre half (Rodwell on a free doesn't quite do it) and it was damned obvious we needed wingers, but neither arrived. We just ended up with a hat full of numbers 10s in Rothwell, Palmer, Davenport and to an extent Armstrong, who's positon I just don't know, the lads so inconsistent, but he isn't a winger, and he can't play up front on his own. We also needed a good backup for Graham but didn't get one, we signed some young lad for 7 million who doesn't play at all, even when graham is knackered. If the plan at the beginning of the season was to sit on any kind of lead we generated in any game, then why didn't we sign a quality defensive mid, as smallwood is average and why didn't we sign some defenders who can defend a lead at this level.
  19. Backing up someone who disagrees with the same poster you do? Idiotic Can you not think of your own posts, thought not
  20. Let's all get buzzing from the sources then. Won't happen.
  21. It should have been better? For bolton yes
  22. No, becuase we've spent 10.5 mil on 2 strikers who are on the bench. We've no money left., it's been wasted.
  23. Hear you, but the 2 centre backs are undroppable with tony. And we've spent all our money on 2 strikers who are on the bench every week pal.
  24. Chaddy doesn't do reality when it comes to rovers.
