The pitch should have suited out weak as piss full backs, goodness knows how they'd cope on a big pitch, oh yeh that's right just as bad.
-
Bennett isn't good enough full stop. People love him, and I understand why, he's a grafter, but he's not a good player. The whole back 4 isn't any good though, lets be honest. The whole teams panicks on the ball, which puts even more pressure on our weak defence.

Their a far better side than rovers, I knew that before the game kicked off, but yet they were 10 places below us, it's a funny league. I suspect if they'd have kept the fella who went to villa, they'd be well in contention for play offs. Very good side, sawyers, benrahma, Watkins and maupay would all get in our side, and so would their whole back 4, but i think 80% of sides in the league, id take their whole defence over ours.
-
If that was the case he'd have done the same at Blackpool. But he resigned.
-
Doubt it, Mowbray has a job for life here if he wants it.
-
It was a pathetic fall apart, again. Weak as piss away from home, the defence needs sorting. No other words for it really. They'll have to make up for it next week.

Over 3 seasons I thought 27 goals (13 nearly 50% of those goals were in his first 6 months). wasn't a great return for the money we paid, I didn't mean HE was crap, I just think it was a waste of £8 million apart from the first 12 months, mate. I think after he left he scored something like 30 goals in around 110 games, but to be fair he was well into his 30's then. Stuart Pearce said when he had him at city that "he was great to bring off the bench if we needed a goal" - maybe we could have used him more in that way.
-
16 goals and 6 assists and played 26 games. So involved in a goal every 1.1 games.
-
Isn't it funny how all our 'expensive flop' signings seem to be for the same figure. Brereton, Grabbi, Davies all for £7million, Andy Cole was also £7million and apart from the first 12 months was also a waste of money, although he did bag in the final.
-
He went back to forest, but now signed on loan again for rochdale. Not sure why he went back to forest. Maybe injured or initial loan had finished.
-
Would that be before or after he suggests that the walker famiiy and john williams are to blame for brexit, world war 1, world war 2, the Faulklands, austerity, recession and anything else he could think of?
-
Pffft tosser.
-
What comments? Must have missed this?
-
No! Just stop it.

Rather have laurel and hardy.

But you didn't work sales when it comes to football fans did you. There are 3 massive examples of it working which have already been mentioned, Huddersfield, Bradford and forest, nearly 50% increase in attendances when charging way lower than they have before. Yes I accept it might not be what happens at rovers, but it was would certainly add a few thousand on. Who then might keep coming back, short term loss for long term gain.
-
But that extra spence is a reality, whether the club or you like it or not. Most people do factor that in.
-
Wouldn't say it was squabbling, just stating the obvious. Disappointment, not sure about others, but this is Rovers, you get used to it.
-
That's that then. Downing and Palmer out and Chapman, who won't be fit for a couple of months in. So arguably finishing the window slightly weaker. Hopefully another academy player can step up if we have injuries.
-
Boro have just said, no offers whatsoever for Assomabalonga.
-
Leon Clarke Sheff Utd to Wigan, good signing for them, should score enough goals to keep them up.
-
Well it seems like sothampton want to keep Gallagher anyway, so I hope Tony has a plan up his sleeve.
-
Dope, yes my bad. So a total outlay of £440k, nearly half a million for 4 months for an injury prone player, maybe not the best bit of business.
-
He's on £55k there, so we are willing to pay £22.5K then. Usually the loan salaries are paid up to end of June, which is officially end of the season (I think), so would be an outlay of £360,000.

This all sounds very similar to August transfer window, get ready for an expensive panic buy tomorrow.
