  1. Mulgrew gave away a lazy penalty, he was lucky that the lad was offside, just.
  2. Bolton deserved to win the game. What our game plan was I am bewildered to wonder. They were far better than us. We scored and then just more or less said to them "come and score if you think you're good enough" for 60 minutes or so, and they very nearly did score about 5 or 6 times. Thought it was as poor as sheff utd game, but we played a team who weren't as clinical. Rodwell was atrocious, he said when he came to the club that all his career hes played cm when he is a cb, but he plays cm today. Lucky win but I'll take it.
  3. Good post. So basically on for 69 points across a season. The last 6 seasons (since we came down from the Premiership) with that points tally would see you 10th, 9th 7th, 9th (us under Bowyer), 9th (one place below us who finished 8th under Bowyer) and 6th. Average over last six seasons is 75 points to get into the play offs. Going back a few years and you were more or less guaranteed a play off spot with 68-70 points, but these days the teams in the play offs seem to be quite a bit ahead of the rest of the league and get more points.
  4. I thought when I looked on BBC it said 14,440.
  5. I bought a ticket at 4ish, but if it was an hour or so later I wouldn't have bothered because I wouldn't pay the extra surcharge. To be fair though it's pretty easy to phone up and order and collect 5 mins before kick off and that way you don't pay the surcharge, but if it's a last minute decision then it is rather rubbish, quite often on a Saturday I won't fancy going until around 1ish when my mates are talking about the game, but then the surcharge is imposed so wouldn't pay it.
  6. Lenihan been poor all season for me, mate. Sheff Utd were a good side. I think Reed should have been right back and Bennett kept in midfield. The wings are still a major issue, not having any out and out wingers means 9 times out of 10, when we get the ball on the wings we moved forward, then take a step back and then before you know it all the oppositions defence are well positioned and then we go back into the middle, it's all very predictable, meaning we have to use Dack a heck of a lot, and sheff utd marked him out of the game last night and that meant we weren't ever in the game.
  7. Glad you've acknowledged your posts. If it was down to you mulgrew would be manager, mowbray would be that sporting director you love to talk about at every club and attendances would be irrelevant becuase they don't suit your agenda. But then the week after you'd do a 360 on everything.
  8. 1 win in 6 home games, carry that on and we will struggle. Looked like there was no plan at all tonight, wilder out tacticed mowbray, sheff utd were far, far better. Smallwood was atrocious and bennett was poor at right back.
  9. Pretty sure he will go with Reed at right back. Played there all last season for Norwich and Tony mentioned how he was an option there and that allows him to keep bennett on the wing. Then either armstrong or palmer getting the nod for left mid.
  10. Think it will be: Raya Reed. Mulgrew. Lenihan Bell Bennett. Evans Smallwood Palmer Dack Graham
  11. Reeds position is a dcm, he certainly isnt a right sided midfielder. No matter what the manager just seems to want to play players on the wing, who aren't wingers, samuel, armstrong, Reed, brereton, antonson etc. Bennett works hard, very energetic, but creates next to nothing most games playing on the wing. Everything we do goes through the middle, if we had two natural wingers who were able to run with and cross the ball then we might be able to stop worrying about the opposition so much. Basically yesterday we had 4 defenders, and then two defensive wingers on the pitch as well as two playing in cdm. So 8 of the 10 outfield players were defensive minded players, granted evans and Reed got further forward occasionally.
  12. I'm just fed up of conceding in the last 10 minutes every other week. Forest should have bagged two in injury time, the defending from set pieces is atrocious. Going forward we were excellent for spells.
  13. That's right mate
  14. Hes a liability so far this season.
  15. What 3 defensive midfielders mate?
  16. Haha yes! But don't step foot in Nottingham for a while lol
  17. Your post was in the paper. Forest fans didn't like it.
  18. Looks like you got what you wanted, personally think that's far too defensive for a home game.
  19. Yes mate ?. You are very good with stuff like this to be fair.
  20. Very good post, Mattyblue will like this.
  21. Neither was Bristol, there was lots of empty seats there.
  22. Robbo not happy with that article in telegraph of which said "raya first keeper since Friedel not to cost us points" tweeted saying "well this is awkward". Match of the day picked up on it haha. Don't think he realises it's just a local fan who write rather than the club. Replying to people who said they weren't happy he went to Burnley he said you should no the truth about my exit, well tell us then numpty. Dunn repling saying its right was rather funny.
  23. Didn't attend the game, didnt watch extended highlights, didn't read a match report and didn't look at player ratings, but i didn't need to. One short 10 second clip of which showed me Rodwell has what it takes, he turned skillfully and took out two Bournemouth midfielders and then took a touch to go past another, with power, technique and guile before playing a lovely pass forward, that alone showed me that he is better than anything we've had in that deep lying midfield role since jermaine Jones. And that small piece of play showed me he's good enough to play in this team. Simple as that.
