Well he has a slight point, I really struggle to accept a manager that thinks it's acceptable playing Richie Smallwood in any team, and a manager that thinks the back four that was abysmal at times in league one didn't need strengthening for two Windows on the trot. Just like players managers have their levels and because of our past miss demeanours we seem to have to be happy with where we are and not strive to change and improve. If that's the best It's guna be under this lot then I suppose it's better than the alternative, but I'd like to see some progress considering over £10mil was spent and the offerings of more was there.

Would have to disagree with that, quite easily. Back then we had two strikers who scored 20 goals each, now we have none. We had a playmaker in cairney, now we have none (dack isn't a playmaker). We had two centre backs who were good at this level now we have 5 who aren't good enough. Back then we had wingers who could cross a ball in Marshall and Conway, one has gone and the other is now past his best, now we have zero wingers who can cross a ball.

But think how happy he will be when he's happy.

We are going way off topic here. The premier league sides we had shouldn't even be coming into the equation when compared with these weak as piss players, the awful infrastructure of the club, the lack of realism from the chief exec and the lack of enthusiasm from the fan base. We have the same awful defence that we've had since the likes of Hanley and Duffy left, bar Amari bell. It needs sorting, simple. The manager hasn't sorted it, simple. if Graham is injured now, we are fucked, we should have a replacement, the manager hasn't brought one in, he's relying on an awful player in nuttall. if dack is injured, the only replacement in Palmer has gone. if Travis is injured, we have to rely on a very poor player in Smallwood, managers loyalty to poor players costly.
