  1. Gallagher ripping into them on radio lancs, said they create nothing.
  2. Sounds ideal, let's sign him up.
  3. I miss Todd, Dickov, Savage, Mokoena, Samba, Nelsen and Kuqi.
  4. Awful footballer, never understood the lovin for him.
  5. He's clearly been on the whacky backy during games then, the only game under his stewardship were i've thought, you know what we played some good stuff today and should have won by a lot more, was the hull game at ewood, apart from that, rubbish.
  6. Mulgrew, Bennett, Williams, Evans and Smallwood, playing like league 1 players. Dack invisible, armstrong runs, runs, runs and then nothing, Reed doesn't look interested, probably about sums it up for me mate.
  7. What more do you expect from the chief ass lickers and that joke of a reporter.
  8. Same old shit, hoof ball to armstrong, armstrong runs with the ball, armstrong does nothing with ball, repeat.
  9. Rovers are completely wide open, Preston will score a few here.
  10. Great reaction from Mowbrays losers.
  11. Only problem is none of them central midfielders can pass a ball.
  12. Only sell out in 5 years? What lol. I think not, We've sold out allocations many a times, including allocations down south. Please don't make things up. As for that Bolton game, there was a consensus from both sets of fans not to attend due to the £35 ticket prices, as the clubs had always had a good arrangement in place previously, and in addition it was a televised game, so made sense to boycott for a lot. Please do your research in future.
  13. Has to be, and then the league cup win must have sent them over the edge.
  14. Just don't get it with Preston, I thought Blackpool where their big rivals? Same with Bolton, they supposedly don't like Man Utd and Wigan, and Wigan don't like Bolton, but yet all of them seem to consider playing us as a big rivalary game. Weird. Only the Burnley game is a rivalry for me. Even in league one, Oldham acted like it was their biggest game in years playing us.
  15. Williams is better at centre back than left back. Not by much, but he is.
  16. Granted they aren't 100% identical scenerios, but I think there are glaring similarities. Mediocrity probably the wrong word, apologies, more accepting of the situation.
  17. In the end, bowyer and Mowbray very similar, in many ways. A lot of fans love both, because they steadied the ship at very low points in the clubs history, of which we should always be grateful. However both should have done far better, Bowyer with the squad he had, and Mowbray with the backing that he's had financially. Bowyer would still be here today if it wasnt for that back stabbing Shaw (which is obviously a catch 22 scenario) and Mowbray will be here for as long as he wants, because both were/are so friendly with the owners. We are again stuck and divided, just as under bowyer, 50% of fans know we need to move onto a manager who wasn't/isn't as cautious, and had/has the ability to deliver promotion, but the other half are loyal to the current manager because they've accepted mediocrity and are happy with just being one of those "they're doing okay" sides. You can't criticise either side, the blame lies solely with the owners. I firmly believe we would still be a PL side under Williams stewardship if these lot never came in or let Williams do the job he always did so well.
  18. If we went to a game and didn't know who the manager was, then I can get your point, as some of the stuff being served up is the same as under those two at times. However Tony is a better manager than both, more honest and more professional.
  19. Have to agree. My mate said other month, why don't you come down today, cheap tickets, I just said, I cant watch a team that consists of Richie Smallwood, and won't bother watching any games that he plays in. Sounds pathetic, I know, but i just can't stand watching it. Bennett getting that way, he's not a defender, he's a winger, but he can't cross a ball, so literally does nothing bar constantly giving the ball away. I get the point about supporting a team, but when it's getting onto nearly 8 years of shite, I just can't be bothered wasting money on it anymore. Additionally If i do attend and make my feelings heard, you get shot down by the rest of the stadium and abuse thrown at you for not supporting the team, which is ironic, as them same supporters don't support the team in terms of creating an atmosphere. Which is the second reason I've stopped going, it's like a library down there, I used to love darwen end and a good sing along all game, but now, nothing. Again I know people will totally disagree with probably all that I've put, but it's just how I feel, I've fallen out of love with it. But if you'd have put sensible pricing on season tickets and put them on right after promotion I'd probably have got one, like many others I'd have thought, then I'd have been back into the routine of going.
  20. Leutwiler Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Reed Bennett Armstrong Dack R.Costello Graham We've no proper wingers at the club bar chapman who probably wont play this season, so get a lad out of the academy in the starting 11. I would drop Mulgrew if there was someone who could replace him, but there isnt. Think we need two grafters in the DM role, due to the poor defence.
  21. Weak as piss, common theme this season. The manager has stuck with players who we all knew would not be good enough at this level and now it's costing us big time. Most of all he's brought in no leaders, I mean come on m, Mulgrew as captain? That's laughable hes no leadership in him whatsoever, the only player within the whole squad who has a bit of it is Bennett, but he's not good enough as a player, that's affecting him this season, meaning any leadership responsibility have taken a back seat. There's nobody else in the team. It's depressing to watch this lot. The manager seems the same though, so what can you expect.
  22. Good to hear, Damo. Stanley have been doing that for a while now, in regards to matches at half time, you see all the teams in the side stand (the new one now) all in their kits, you can tell how excited they all are, and it really must encourage them to keep attending matches. Youth fan engagement something that is sadly lacking at Ewood Park these days.
  23. Have you been Stanley? The parking is a nightmare!
  24. why are you on here? If all is great at Preston, go on the Preston forums and wax lyrics to each other, about how great your club is, we aren't interested.
