I’m not totally against the porteous interest/signing, he is head and shoulders above everyone in the hibs team however he is a massive gobshite, his mouth would get him into bother here

I have to say I know little to nothing about the lad but he doesn’t half remind me of that other Irish lad we had that went out on loan a few times then released having never played for us, Lyons? Or a Davenport . It has that feel to it

I just don’t enjoy this rovers team or for a good decade tbh, it just never feels like we are quite “right”, always feels like we are in the back foot, we create so little and have nothing in our squad to get fans out their seats. It really is a hard watch for me at the moment and sadly we seem to be on sky all the time stinking the place out. Non rovers supporter mates thought I was so unambitious by saying we have no chance of going up when we were riding high but I saw the performances and they just never filled me with anything other than we are a very poor footballing team

We are a tough watch , I’m not seeing a marked improvement from mowbray. We are getting sneaky wins that aren’t entirely merited, defeats are merited, not creating enough, relying on luck, a piece of magic and resolute defending to win matches. I just don’t see where we are going with this

What happened to the Travis that embarrassed mowbray and made himself unstoppable, completely different player to the one that we have today, his only current role in the midfield is to be a gobshite and he isn’t particularly good at that either
