  1. I can’t really remember Appleton’s time here all that well to be honest. I don’t think it was impressive though, like you say, maybe just too soon. He wasn’t given long in his defence
  2. Who do you think carrick is going to go to in order to start his managerial career? He isn’t going to get a Man Utd or West Ham job because he is a gamble. As another said, question is more should we take a gamble on carrick and not the other way around. I don’t even know if he wants to be a manager, just felt he sounds knowledgeable in interviews I saw and had a personality I feel would work well with management. Your lack of ambition and pride in our club is astounding. I don’t see us as wee Blackburn, and I’d argue with anyone that said it to me
  3. Well done mate, absolutely. Small time mentality fans can go and support Chorley, no offence intended for Chorley
  4. Failure from his appointment. Relegated us. Yes we got promoted from league 1 but the football was horrible, no style , no plan, we got up in spite of him. Had a big budget and players too good for the division we didn’t need to sell. Two further years of poor quality football, false dawns, missed opportunities all while not having to sell and opportunity to spend. All in all, failure
  5. Lampard- derby gerrard- rangers Henry- bmouth as examples. Why wouldn’t he come here or are you in mowbrays ways of thinking that we are just Little club Blackburn rovers these days
  6. Although I’d prefer to get some big name experienced manager if we were to go the gamble route I reckon Michael carrick might be worthy of a go until the end of the season and see if he has what it takes
  7. Nah he likes other teams youths teams, we are only Blackburn rovers so our own academy isn’t capable
  8. I’m with Tyrone, warning signs were there in promotion season when in the majority we played poorly bar doing enough in short spells to win games. Great chance to get a brand of style with the team and used it to play loan folk out of position. Baffling really
  9. I think the injuries are another sad state of how we are being run, transfers not being given full medical, lot of players continually picking up niggles so not being managed correctly. You will always get a bad challenge or just an unfortunate injury but we seem to pick them up more than most due to poor conditioning. Are our players as fit as they should be?
  10. Because he is still here after 4 painful years. Of course nobody is actually unsackable however but I’m sure you knew that or do you just miss exaggeration for effect
  11. Agree with your sentiment, to me it’s the fact mowbray is almost unsackable and no end is in sight. It’s painful and wholly frustrating when you want something so bad but can never get it
  12. A great playing rovers playing career can mean I forgive a lot. I imagine behind closed doors he maybe has a slightly different opinion, he probably feels he should toe the party line for the club. mowbray doesn’t have a great playing career here so he gets no credit from me
  13. I understand the fans frustrations but to start belittling Dunn and then dack is a step too far for me.
  14. Can’t bash Dunn though, sorry. Absolute club legend, just wrong opinion on this
  15. I prefer steve kean and coyle , they were just shite managers, mowbray is actually trying to hoodwink the fans now, utterly disgraceful
  16. With respect to Blackburn rovers, we are where we are and we haven’t been a premier league team in a number of years. fuck off you fucking moron mowbray
  17. Mowbrays time here is not going to end pretty , I think he will be absolutely hated in a few years
  18. Sigh at Least with kean and coyle you felt the axe might actually come at some point soon. This is worse as I can’t see an end to this bullshit
  19. Just frustrated and bored every game just now, watch out of a sense of obligation, but it’s a chore. So so so tired of mowbrays ways
